Good, but very thick and white, you need to apply just a little and blend it well, otherwise there will be white marks on the skin, the skin becomes slightly pale.
I don't know why my comment was deleted((
This cream does not contain ZINC OXIDE, which specifically protects against pigmentation and photoaging... So it is essential to check the composition before purchasing.
I have fair skin and my tone is practically the second lightest in all palettes. In winter, I generously apply SPF 30, and in summer, SPF 50 due to sun intolerance. I don't have pigmented spots but rather a lack of pigmentation in the thinnest areas of my skin. It looks similar to vitiligo. Therefore, I don't want any tanning because not only does it create contrast, but it also spreads discoloration.
My cream is Anthelios Ultra by La Roche Posay. It is suitable for the most sensitive skin. However, due to pregnancy, I decided to switch to a chemical-free SPF. Yes, this Avene cream with natural SPF is suitable for sensitive skin and does not irritate even under the eyes, but it creates a white mask. After using it, I look blue like Casper. I powdered on top and got a plaster effect. When I applied foundation, they seemed incompatible in terms of formula, with one separating from the other, resulting in areas of foundation and areas of paleness. They just don't want to blend properly. I am mentally preparing myself for the challenge of going to the mall and trying on foundation with a more compatible formula, preferably darker than what I normally wear. I'll do anything for the health of my child. But the amount of powder on top of the cream is theatrical and drying to the skin. After three days of this abuse, acne started to appear. I will try to blend the densest foundation on top of it and see what happens. I don't expect miracles. There is a chance that I might even give up. Or just leave it for the beach. Although the cream itself is good.
I have the impression that this is a foundation. I didn't really like it.
The cream is very white on the skin, almost like mime makeup.
It significantly whitens the skin, making it shiny and highlighting any peeling (due to its mineral composition). It clogs pores (especially in the heat, where it appears as small dots on the skin). I cannot specify its sun protection capabilities yet, but it is definitely not suitable for urban use or as a makeup base. It is simply meant to be applied on the face at the beach.
Disappointed with the purchase! I read the reviews afterwards! The fact that it leaves a white residue is just a minor issue. The bluish-pink shade it gives off is absolutely repulsive and shiny. Moreover, the main ingredient for sun protection, zinc oxide, is not even listed in the composition. I didn't expect this from Avène. Complete disappointment. 1 star.
Before buying this cream and reading negative reviews that the cream is somehow not right, it does indeed cover the skin with a white film, but it should be like this - these are physical (mineral) filters - titanium dioxide and zinc oxide of a white color. And considering that you need to apply approximately a teaspoon of cream, it is a quite thick layer and it will be very noticeable. Zinc oxide creams are suitable for people with sensitive skin, photodermatitis, and rosacea. For everyone else - if you don't have such problems, buy creams with chemical filters that match your skin type, they will not be noticeable on the skin.
This is the most useless purchase ever. The cream is blatantly white, even if applied in a very thin layer. And after using it, the face becomes very greasy, to the point that objects are reflected on the forehead)) The cream clogs pores and accentuates all imperfections. I highly do not recommend it.
Pros:
- It is a mineral sunscreen cream, which unfortunately there are few of on our market.
- It does not contain fragrances, which is especially important for sensitive skin.
- It contains iron oxides, which provide protection against visible light (in addition to the main protection against ultraviolet rays).
Cons:
- It does not contain zinc oxide, which is responsible for providing the main protection against UVA rays and therefore the main protection against photoaging in mineral sunscreens.
- It significantly whitens the face. Yes, whitening effects should be expected when using mineral sunscreens, but manufacturers still strive to solve this problem and create creams with a less noticeable white film. However, it is very visible in this case. Furthermore, it is only possible to somewhat manage the whiteness upon initial application. But since all sunscreens need to be reapplied every 2 hours, it is impossible to evenly distribute or blend this cream to make it less noticeable during the second application.
- It leaves a very strong oily shine and a pearly sheen.
- It clogs pores.
In conclusion, I will not purchase it again.
I am very dissatisfied with this cream that was recommended by a dermatologist. After applying it, my skin becomes sticky, pale, and has a pinkish tint. Even throughout the day, the cream fails to absorb well into the skin, which looks very unappealing.
I'm very disappointed with the money I spent on this product. When applied to the face, it looks like a white mask and it also shines, even though I have a fair skin tone. I felt like Edward Cullen from Twilight. Before purchasing, please think carefully.
I am giving it three stars only because it doesn't cause any allergies and provides sun protection. However, after applying it, my skin feels like flour. It's as if I have a mummy face. I won't be purchasing it anymore. It's a shame to waste money. I bought it because the brand is good, but unfortunately...
My skin is prone to hyperpigmentation, so I am in search of SPF 50. Regarding the cream: the packaging, tube, and instructions are all concise and beautiful, as always with Avène. The cream is pink in color, with a pleasant consistency and a barely noticeable scent. It does not roll off, but it does leave a greasy shine and whitens the skin. These last two drawbacks can be eliminated by applying transparent mineral powder 15 minutes after the cream. However, the face still appears whiter than usual. The cream is suitable for girls with fair, cool-toned skin. Those with warm undertones will need to correct the whiteness. As for functionality, I can't say anything yet as I have been using it for less than a week. P.S. If you are not prepared for the white face effect, it is better to prefer screens with chemical filters rather than physical ones.
The cream provides good protection, but it tends to make the skin appear very pale. It is necessary to use powder on top in order to avoid this.
I tried the cream and I was left feeling happy. It took me a little while to get used to applying it. It spreads more easily if there is already a bit of moisturizer on the face. You can also blend it a bit with a cotton pad.
The face becomes brighter and has a shine. But after 5 minutes, you get used to it. And after 10 minutes, I started to really like the noticeably fresher look of my skin, as if I were 15 years old again. The most important thing is to spread it evenly.
The shine doesn't scare me. Although it does look like I've applied highlighter or something similar, the main thing is to spread it evenly. I definitely prefer the brightness and shine over a dull, patchy face like an old lady's.
A separate thank you to the makeup for the excellent service!
I have been using this cream for several months now and I will definitely buy it again. It works perfectly with foundation. I no longer have any breakouts. It seems that the chemical sunscreen cream was causing irritation for me, but this mineral one does not. Moreover, it gives a subtle glow to my face, as if it illuminates it from within. A truly impressive product.
This is the only cream that "blocks out" the sun. This is the most important requirement for pigmentation. The face hardly tans, but this is more than made up for by the absence of dark spots on the face. For those who have experienced pigmentation, this is excellent protection.
