What a waste of time! The product is expired! This is the third product from The Ordinary that I ordered from Makeup, and all three of them are expired! My advice to buyers is to check the expiration date.

The product can cause a slight burning sensation upon application, but this sensation quickly fades away. However, after prolonged use, the skin appears fresh, moisturized, and well taken care of. Due to certain life circumstances, I had to stop using it for a week, and that's when I noticed the difference. My skin is combination type and I am in the 45+ age range.

I really liked the serum; I use it before bedtime, applying three drops before my moisturizer. I am satisfied.

During the first use, I experienced a terrible allergy in the form of reddish-blue patches. Why didn't I read the reviews before purchasing?!

I have combination skin. Unfortunately, this serum is a complete waste of money. It doesn't absorb into the skin even after half an hour of application. It leaves a yellow film on the skin as if someone smeared iodine on you. I do not recommend it.

Dry, sensitive skin.
On the 5th day of use, a red rash similar to hives appeared.
The serum has an oily texture and a iodine-like color.
It does not absorb well into the skin and leaves a greasy film behind.

I also experienced an allergic reaction in the form of a burn after applying it.

Leaves a sticky residue on the skin, without noticeable improvement in skin quality after use.

Excellent serum, slightly oily texture, has a color similar to iodine solution. I use it in combination with vitamin C, resveratrol, and ferulic acid. I'm not sure if it will have an effect on its own, but when used with vitamin C, it works to improve skin tone and texture. Both my mother and I noticed the same effect, so we bought identical sets of products.
