The scent is subjective. It reminded me of my late grandmother's perfume. However, it is much more affordable to buy this soap in Ukraine. In Italy, the markup on it is twice as high.

The scent is extremely intense, but it lacks any hint of peony. It's impossible to tolerate such a strong smell, so I won't be able to use it. It's a good thing that it reminds my mom of her youth, so at least she will be able to use it.

How awful it smells, it's impossible to be in the bathroom, it stinks and doesn't smell good at all, but the texture and foam are soft and very pleasant, which is a positive aspect.

The scent has nothing to do with peonies. It is very intense. Judging by the reviews, there are people who appreciate it. Therefore, scent is a matter of personal preference (personally, I do not like it). Other properties of the soap are good. It doesn't become too soggy and lasts for a long time.

I don't understand why others like it. The scent is strong and suffocating, unrelated to peony. I am disappointed. It lathers well.

I absolutely love the scent of this soap, it's rich and has a slight bitterness to it.
I have never used it for its intended purpose, instead, I put it in my closet to scent my clothes, like a sachet, without opening the packaging.
For 5 years, the smell hasn't spoiled and has remained just as intense ❤️

The smell from the open package in the room is unbelievable! I tried lightly soaping it, and the smell, in my opinion, disappeared! I'm kind of scared to use it as intended and be disappointed. For now, I'm just using it to freshen up the room and enjoying it.
