I have used this product three times myself. The first time, I really liked the cream because it moisturized well. However, after that, it seemed to stop working... Then I bought it for my mom, and she absolutely hated it. She categorically did not like it.
So, I have one piece of advice: try it if you really want to, but if there is another option, don't buy it.

I agree with the negative reviews. I read about the confusing consistency, but people have different opinions and criteria, so I wasn't expecting anything terrible that could surprise me. But this! It's something else! - It's a sticky (stretches like endless threads as mentioned here), slimy mass, poorly spreads, and doesn't absorb well. I will try using it as a mask, so I can wash it off later.

I can tolerate the texture of this cream and the unpleasant sticky-tight sensation after it absorbs, but getting a rash from using it is just too much. I don't even know why I fell for the idea that Korean cosmetics are so awesome and have positive reviews.

I have learned how to easily manage it - just take a small amount on your fingertip and gently pat it onto the skin using your fingertips. Then you can apply it to your face.

Yes, it does stretch, but if you "break off" at the edge of the jar, there are no issues with getting a minimal amount.
Those who write that it "doesn't moisturize enough" are clearly beginners in Korean skincare. ALL snail creams, for the most part, do NOT moisturize!!! Their purpose is to exfoliate, to put it bluntly. To renew the skin. And after using them, if necessary, you apply moisturizing creams on top. And underneath them, you can and should use a hydrating toner, emulsion, whatever you prefer.
For example, I use a toner with galactomyces, 2-3 layers of it, then an emulsion with seawater or a serum with panthenol, and only then the snail cream.
I have combination skin, 40+, but despite all this care, it is NOT oily, NOT sticky, comfortable all day!
For those whose face gets oilier instead (and the cream itself is not oily at all), either there is still a lack of hydration and the skin is trying to protect itself, or, unfortunately, some ingredient is irritating and not suitable for them individually. And that needs to be identified.

The cream has a texture that feels as if it was squeezed out of a snail (not literally). It's difficult to use it sparingly. After application, the skin feels sticky, although it eventually goes away. However, I find that it doesn't provide enough moisturization, as I feel the need to apply something else on top after an hour. I won't be purchasing it again.

This is more of a cream-gel. It absorbs excellently, leaving no residue or greasy film. The skin looks much better, pimples and fine lines have disappeared. The BEST cream for me. I am already finishing my second jar (unfortunately, I bought it elsewhere, I didn't even know it was available here...)
