Thoroughly wash your hands. To remove the outer protective wrapper, hold the tampon with clean hands and twist the wrapper in the directions indicated by the arrows. Remove the lower part of the cellophane, straighten the string, and check if there is a knot at the end. Create a small indentation at the end of the tampon by gently pressing with your index finger. Holding the edge of the tampon with your thumb and middle finger, place your index finger into the indentation. Remove the top part of the cellophane packaging. Find a comfortable position, relax, and with your free hand, carefully insert the tampon into your vagina by gently pushing it with your index finger. Insert the tampon deeply into the vagina, directing it upwards and backwards (towards your lower back). The tampon should be properly positioned. You should not feel any discomfort from the inserted tampon, and the string should remain outside. After inserting the tampon, wash your hands. To remove the tampon, gently pull on the string. You may feel slight resistance, which is natural as the tampon has expanded slightly.
