The Fixator is simply amazing. Before applying makeup, I treat my face with the fixator, then apply foundation, and finally treat it again with the fixator. The makeup stays on wonderfully.
It lasts approximately for an hour on me. However, I have found another way to use it. If I curl my lashes with an eyelash curler before applying mascara and let them dry a bit, then I apply mascara. The effect of the mascara turns out much better this way. My lashes are short and mascara doesn't really help, but with this method, they look a bit better.
I have combination skin. I can't say that the spray does something incredible, as by the end of the day, my makeup doesn't look as cool anymore. However, the effect from the fixative is noticeable! It's not a 5-star product, but it's a decent toy for the summer. It sprays evenly and doesn't spit. The scent is a bit sharp, but it disappears after 1-2 minutes. Overall, it's alright.
I am satisfied with it in every way! The makeup holds up well. In one of the reviews, someone wrote that it deserves a 4+ rating... and I completely agree!
I didn't buy it here, but I really liked it. I'm buying it for the second time. It works great for those with a shiny T-zone, it makes the skin look nice when applied.
The spray is applied, but it is not advisable to apply mascara as it tends to smudge.
However, the foundation, powder, and other products stay on for a solid 4+ hours.
The dispenser spits instead of sprays, making it impossible to use as a fixative. It can be used somewhat as a base if you dab it somewhere and then distribute it. But why go through all this trouble? I didn't expect this from Rimmel.
There are some drawbacks to it - indeed, it is applied not as a veil but as a spray, it slightly dissolves makeup, which is why I got used to applying it before mascara, so it doesn't smudge. And it slightly stings the eyes until it dries.
BUT it passed the ultimate crash test - I had to take a bath with makeup on, it was a steamy mess, water drops were literally running down my face and OH MIRACLE - after it completely dried, the makeup was still in place, didn't run anywhere, and looked amazing! And that's considering I'm not a fan of natural makeup and everything was vibrant. Even the contouring was still intact! And this was after a workday! If this isn't the best test that shows its effectiveness, then I don't know what else is needed))
This product is like a face lacquer in a positive sense. It works well. I will definitely buy it again.
This product is not good, I do not recommend it.
I am a bit disappointed because I don't really see a difference with and without it. Moreover, the spray squirts instead of misting. It's difficult to evenly cover the entire face. I used to use Makeup Revolution and I liked it much better. At least it didn't spit.
I am completely disappointed, I did not expect this from Rimmel. It is impossible to use this as a primer, as it leaves behind a sticky layer that desperately needs to be washed off the face and makes it impossible to distribute the foundation evenly. As a setting spray, it also performs mediocrely. The scent is pleasant, but the spray splatters unevenly on the face, making it difficult to distribute evenly. After drying, it feels sticky. It is simply impossible to apply it to the most problematic areas (under the eyes and on the eyelids) due to the spray dispersing in streams, so the spray does not hold eyeshadow, mascara, and smudge-proof concealer under the eyes. Did I notice a difference in the longevity of the rest of my makeup (lipstick and foundation)? Not really. Perhaps if you have very oily skin or you like to apply three layers of foundation and thick contouring, the effect will be noticeable, but for normal skin with one layer of makeup, you can simply spray water on your face and get the same benefits. Maybe if the dispenser was changed, the situation would improve, but it is unclear why the buyer should bother with this instead of the manufacturer.
"Truly fixes securely."
I really like this spray! It's really great. Before, I tried the Makeup Revolution spray once. This one works better. It extends the longevity of my makeup on my oily skin for about 5-7 hours, then I touch up my makeup a little with blotting papers or powder.
But I took a while to get used to the smell, it has a strong alcohol scent! And this sprayer! At first, everything was great, it sprayed like a fine mist, but now something happened with the sprayer and it feels like it's shooting! But I transferred it to another bottle. Although I never had such problems with the Makeup Revolution spray.
But regardless, I will still continue to buy it because it's really awesome!)))
I really liked the holder itself, but the sprayer is simply terrible. It literally spits out large droplets and doesn't evenly disperse the liquid. Is it just me or is this a common issue? I'm deducting one star for this.
Amazing product. With this spray, my favorite Korean BB cream finally stopped melting and running under the sun like ice cream. I apply it before and after makeup. Now it stays on my face until the evening even on hot summer days. Plus, it has a refreshing effect like thermal water or mist. I haven't experienced anything similar with other fixators.

This product fixes very well! It is the best fixing product I have ever tried, and I have tried many. It makes the skin matte and smooth. My makeup stayed on for a whole 18 hours.
