Amouage Interlude for Man Eau de Parfum

Everything is great! Thank you, beloved Makeup, for the opportunity to replenish my favorite perfume at a good price. In the new version of the bottle, there is indeed no inscription "interlude" on the sides and no "amouge" on the neck.

Yes, it has a beautiful fragrance, but if you don't want to overpay, then Mancera Red Tobacco is just as good in terms of longevity and sillage. I have tried both and I can say that Mancera has a great sillage and longevity, and the price is lower, while the scents are very similar.

I'm not really a fan of it, even though it's my favorite perfume. There's something about it that stands out and ruins everything - this coldness that I absolutely dislike. I'll give it some time to settle.
However, my son liked it more, but he can't really smell it after just half an hour. Although there's a long-lasting trail, the scent intensifies with the slightest movement and that coldness suffocates me.
We bought it based on reviews, without testing it beforehand. Maybe I should have thought about testing it.

To clarify, this fragrance is not just magnificent. It is a legend! One "fact from its biography" is enough to understand why. It is the only (in capital letters) fragrance from the perfume brand Amouage that has rightfully received not one, but two flankers: Interlude 25 and Interlude Black Iris. None of the brand's other women's or men's fragrances have this privilege. Not even the esteemed Gold. I operate with facts, so the opinions of those who didn't like or appreciate this fragrance are purely personal matters of taste and physiology, which cannot be argued. And these individuals are not the majority, not even close to half, but a minuscule fraction. Personally, this fact does not please me because such popularity hinders my own perfume individuality. Luckily, it is a masculine perfume, and rare is the woman who dares to wear it. I am one of those women.

Secondly, I ordered this fragrance here and now, and I can confidently say that the scent has not changed since 2012. I have a bottle from 2012, and I know what I'm talking about. The perfume itself has aged and matured over the years, with the liquid darkening and thickening, but in the end, after a parallel test, the scents are identical. The "old" one is more powerful, more mature, with greater density, which is natural. On the other hand, the "young" one is lighter, not yet fully developed. Ladies and gentlemen, let's leave behind stories about coronaviruses and other nonsense. The laws of chemistry have not been abolished. Fragrance is a living substance that is subject to aging and maturing. Some fragrances simply spoil and die, while others manage to "live to old age" and become timeless vintage gems. I know all about this. Without resorting to personal attacks or a desire to offend someone, this is simply my point of view and my desire to defend this masterpiece.

This is a classic that I will never give up on! After the pandemic, the scent seemed different to me, even though no one replaced the bottles in my house))). Now I "hear" it just like before. This is the perfect perfume that I will only give up on if the formula suddenly changes... I will be ordering more now! ⚜

I purchased this fragrance for myself as a winter scent. It has a strong aroma that reminds me of the bustling trading streets of Morocco, where spices, leather goods, and magical potions are sold.

Amouage Interlude. There's not much to say about it. The longevity is excellent, lasting more than 12 hours. The sillage is intense for about 4-5 hours, then it becomes weak. When the scent settles down a bit, all the notes mentioned in the pyramid are immediately noticeable, especially frankincense and oregano.

As for whether the composition is good overall or not... Again, this is subjective, but there was no "wow" effect. Yes, it's pleasant, yes, it develops over time, yes, it will definitely get you attention, and yes, it's quite prestigious. But it's not a masterpiece, not mind-blowing, not a "oh my god, hold me back, I've never smelled a better fragrance in my life, I'm going crazy" kind of scent, nothing like that. It's just very good, solid, and that's all.

The scent is simply enchanting. Its longevity and sillage are so strong that wherever you go, you are only surrounded by the fragrance of this perfume. Even after washing shirts, its scent still lingers on the collars.

I absolutely love this perfume! It's magical! I wear it with pleasure, regardless of it being marketed as a men's fragrance. On women's skin, it reveals itself in a completely different way - softer, sweeter, rich, velvety, and iridescent. It changes with each passing hour, and its longevity is unreal. In the rain, it becomes warm and smoky, while in dry weather, it becomes sharp and spicy. The key is to apply it carefully. To all the ladies who love it but are unsure if women can wear men's fragrances - confidently, YES! After all, historically, perfumery has no gender. The division into men's and women's fragrances is simply a mechanism used by perfume marketing to influence the consumer. And as we know, advertising is the driving force behind trade, using clichés and relatable framing.

Good perfume... It has become one of the top ones in my collection... It has a sweet scent of soft spices with leather. I absolutely adore it. Just three sprays are enough to smell good all day long, and if it gets on clothes, it lasts even longer. Overall, I highly recommend it for men to purchase.
