This is my first Amouage fragrance. I had a sample in the summer. During the summer, I could smell citrus with flowers and honey - a pleasant honey that you want to inhale. This fragrance is extremely pleasant. The scent is rich and dense. At first, you can detect incense, benzoin, and fruity notes. A little later, jasmine (not indolic) and burgundy rose come through. In the base, I can sense crushed green walnut leaf. It is beautiful and festive. I am grateful to the store for the fast delivery and pleasant price.

In an old castle, on a slightly rotten wooden table, there is a container containing a thick concoction of prunes, honey, smoked wood charcoal, and a hint of kerosene. In the air, there is a scent of gentle church incense mixed with the petals of a deep red rose. That's how I perceive it. At first taste, I had one desire - to get rid of it. But after six months, I now want to purchase at least 20 ml of it. I think a 50 ml bottle, with my collection and its incredible longevity, will last me a lifetime.
My first Amouage and it's delightful! The beauty of all the notes is fascinating and captivating, albeit expensive. The longevity is excellent, and now I want to collect all the fragrances from Amouage. I have a special request for the store: if someone orders a niche fragrance, please do not include a sample of Oriflame. It's very irritating, even infuriating.

Sorry, I will continue. Despite reading conflicting reviews (some describing it as heavy, tiring, and medicinal), I finally decided to try it. Oh, what a wonderful, beautiful, and most importantly, joyful fragrance! For me, fragrance is happiness! I don't agree with Makeup's description of it as "calming and balancing" (referring to the presence of myrrh and frankincense notes). However, I completely agree with and support Gerda's precise formulation (review from 20.12.2012) - it's like a huge candy with spices! You know, there are these fizzy candies that explode on your tongue with different shades of the main flavor. That's exactly what this fragrance is - organized chaos! No note stands out or imposes itself - it's a delightful combination of all the elements. The fragrance is sparkling, multi-layered, expressive, and in the end - pure joy! The only thing that bothers me is that both my husband and son mentioned that they see this fragrance as separate from me, not complementing or completing my image. They said they envision this fragrance on brunettes or brown-haired women with brown or green eyes! But I really, really like it! I will continue wearing it (of course, not excessively and not at work - where my men are not present). Let's experiment and wish everyone successful purchases!
