Penhaligon's Elisabethan Rose Eau de Parfum

I have been using these perfumes for half a year now, but it never crossed my mind that they smell like cucumbers or, even more so, borscht! This is a very elegant, expensive scent of fresh roses, with a pleasant bitterness. Truly, there's no accounting for taste!

In my opinion, this ruins the entire scent.

The first three seconds are like pickled cucumbers, but then a rose appears with a pleasant and unique aroma. I can't say that it's very long-lasting... if you have the opportunity, it's better to try the perfume on yourself before buying the full-sized version.

Some girls here mentioned the smell of brine, but to be honest, it smells like rose with dill to me, no matter how hard I try. Surprisingly, it's actually very beautiful. In my opinion, this is the best rose I have ever tried - juicy, sweet, without the taste of "grandma's powder" that many rose perfumes have (like Tom Ford's Rose Prick). Overall, I really liked it.

The fragrance is long-lasting, but it's a matter of personal preference as it smells like pickles, believe it or not.

The longevity is extraordinary. I applied it to my wrist, and the bracelet still smells after the second day, and I believe it will continue to do so. The scent is a combination of roses soaked in cucumber brine. As soon as I applied it, the first thing that came to mind was "salty rose." My husband even commented, "I was wondering where that borscht smell was coming from."
