I used this cream a few years ago, but I had to switch to another one because my skin got used to it. Now I started using it again and I am very satisfied! I can see the effect from the first application. Redness and breakouts have decreased significantly. So far, I don't have any dryness, but if it occurs, I will use La Roche-Posay Iso-Biome. Home delivery is very convenient! Thank you for the makeup. ♥️
Unfortunately, I am disappointed with this product. I have been using it for 2 months now, and at first, everything seemed fine, but now I realize all its flaws. It tends to clump up as soon as you apply it, and the advice to "use less product" doesn't help because it's impossible to spread it on your face even if you use less. There is a persistent greasy shine that doesn't go away. It also causes a burning sensation on the skin. I thought it was just my skin reacting this way, but my partner experienced the same disappointment.
I ordered this product in August and used it for a month, but then stopped. The product reduced the number of blackheads on my forehead, but caused all the closed comedones on my cheeks to turn into painful pimples that I can't heal. The product is quite thick and greasy, so I don't recommend it because it slides off incredibly after 10 minutes of application. I have oily skin and it was horrible, as it made my skin even greasier and caused redness, and all the pimples itched after using it. It's better to buy this product without sun protection, as it has a much lighter consistency and doesn't slide off or feel heavy on the skin.
I completely agree with the comments below. The cream is greasy. It moisturizes well, but it leaves the skin feeling like a pancake and gradually slides off. I believe that the quality is absolutely not compatible with the price. I understand that it is imported, customs duties, etc. But all products of this brand do not cost that much. Moreover, on Black Friday, they actually raised the price instead of offering a discount. The ingredients are poor, many of the products contain alcohol. I would rather pay an extra 200 UAH and purchase, for example, the effective Dr.Ceuracle with a perfect formula.
The cream has a very greasy texture and is not suitable for oily skin at all. The face starts to shine just 30 minutes after application. The cleansing gel and toner from this line are decent, but the creams are terrible.
I really liked the cream - it has a pleasant texture and scent.
Among the entire range, this is the most effective product. When compared with other manufacturers, it stands out. I have used it as a cream, and it works quite well in spring and autumn. It feels a bit heavy in the summer and light in the winter, and it also works as a spot treatment. As a spot treatment, it is also good, but for example, the Genosis Intensive works with just 1-2 applications, while this one requires 2-3 days. Additionally, it does not even out the texture.
I have used La Roche-Posay Effaclar Duo (+) and was satisfied with the result, so I ordered this product for the summer period expecting the same outcome. Unfortunately, it did not work for me. The texture was too greasy and caused breakouts, which took a long time to clear up. Therefore, my impressions are mixed.
I bought this cream at a pharmacy, but I still want to leave a review. I have used a similar cream without SPF and it suited me well. However, this cream with SPF feels completely different on my skin - it feels as if it leaves a greasy film (the last time I just washed it off with my face wash, it was so uncomfortable). I will not continue using it and will throw the cream away. I am very disappointed. Additionally, the smell is the same as other products from this SPF cream range, and I do not like it.
For problematic skin, this is exactly what you need for the summer. The La Roche-Posay Effaclar series has been a perfect fit for me. I use it in combination with the gel, micellar water, and toner.
I bought the wrong one, but I still want to leave a review. This product is really great and has a neutral scent. I have combination skin that is both mature and prone to breakouts. It mattifies my skin nicely. Throughout the day, there is less greasy shine after applying the cream. In addition, my skin feels moisturized and pleasant to touch. I highly recommend it to those who struggle to find a cream for oily skin, especially during hot weather.
Wonderful. The scent is very pleasant, like lilacs.
I applied it in small dots, but the areas where I applied it swelled up. My face started itching and it seemed like there were burns where I applied it. I tried the cream again after a week, but the same reaction occurred.
I'm really sorry, but I had an allergic reaction to this product - my face swelled up and my eyes were watering constantly.
When applied to the face, it smudges and leaves residue on clothing and hair. After a short period of time, it starts to irritate the skin on the face. I am not satisfied with this purchase.
I have combination and acne-prone skin, with oily shine on my chin and forehead, but at the same time, I feel dryness on my cheeks and around my nose. I was treated for breakouts and the dermatologist advised me to buy a cream with SPF. So, I tried this one. After using the usual Effaclar Duo, this cream felt unusual and seemed "heavy" to me. But after a few weeks, I got used to it and now I'm just amazed. When I tried the regular version of Effaclar Duo again, it didn't feel right anymore, as if it lacked moisturization. I consider this cream to be perfect for both summer and winter!
I tried it for the first time and was left with a positive impression. I liked the lightweight texture that doesn't cause any discomfort on the skin.
I didn't notice any effect. The version without sun protection is much better and doesn't feel on the skin when this product is applied as a film and sometimes peels off, even if you apply a small amount. It doesn't help like the previous cream without SPF, I don't even feel inclined to use this product.
It rolls off my face, which has never happened to me with creams before.... I'm disappointed, I won't buy it again.
This product is really cool.
The cream itself is not bad. I have problems with sebum on my forehead and nose. It eliminates this flaw, but not for the whole day. I apply it at 8 in the morning, and sebum starts to show up around 4 in the evening. But overall, I don't regret buying it because it's really cool.
Everything is good, it is a good cream.
To be honest, I didn't like it at all. I couldn't properly evaluate it or see any effect because it would immediately roll off after application, even during application. Once I spread it on my face, there were already dried white clumps or it felt like I didn't wash properly and had white spots from toothpaste. I always applied it on a clean washed face with a cleanser from the same brand. I tried it on both dry and wet skin, as well as applying it after thermal water or spraying it with it - it all looked like my skin was peeling off. It was a waste of money, especially considering the price for a 40ml tube. Unfortunately, this is the only product that didn't work for me among many others I have tried from La Roche-Posay.
Overall, it's not at all like the Duo+. It's rather thick and after an hour, it starts to slide off. For this amount of money, you can find something better for combination skin.
Decent cream. I used the regular duo before. For summer, I decided to try this one. I use it together with the peeling gel and moisturizing N. I also use acids. As for SPF, it's not too strong. It does the job, but not under intense sun exposure. That's why I use a different SPF. Other than that, it's a normal regular duo. The skin may appear shiny for the first 10 minutes, but then it becomes normal. When it runs out, I'll consider whether to get a cream with SPF or without.
I liked it! It is lightweight, non-sticky, and not heavy. It is perfect for combination skin with occasional breakouts and acne because it does not clog pores or cause pimples. This is very important, and the SPF is sufficient for daily use on a hot summer day. It is a wonderful product!
The cream is very heavy and differs greatly from the usual duo. It gives shine all over the face. I didn't see any of the claimed effects. On the contrary.
Brand expert, you misunderstood my question. I wanted to know if your peeling gel can effectively remove SPF 30 from the SPF duo + SPF 30 cream, and if it is water-resistant (referring to the SPF). I heard that water-resistant SPF requires a two-step cleansing process, using either hydrophilic oil or micellar water initially. Can your peeling gel from your product line effectively remove La Roche-Posay Duo + SPF 30 without the need for additional cleansing steps?
My favorite skincare product! It truly corrects imperfections, provides perfect sun protection, and does not bleach the skin! I adore the entire Effaclar line ❤️
"My favorite product, I have been using it for a year and a half, my skin is unrecognizable, it has improved so much. Thank you."
After two months of continuous use, I can provide an honest review. This product is effective! It started working after a week of use. Pimples and acne completely disappeared within a month. Then, even old spots from acne vanished (honestly, I thought they would stay with me for life). Before using this cream, I washed my face with the gel cleanser from the same series. Now, I only use the cream once a week and no pimples or breakouts appear. This is an incredibly effective product! It is also economical, as a little goes a long way. There are no downsides. It also helped my husband. Now, I recommend it to everyone who has problematic skin.
Clogs pores, triggers oily breakouts, not suitable for oily skin.
The cream didn't work for me, as I developed an allergic reaction on my face with red patches. Before applying it to my face, I tried it on my hand and everything seemed fine. However, after using it on my face, I noticed the appearance of spots the next day. It's a pity because I really love and use various products from the La Roche-Posay brand, but it didn't work out with this cream.
Applies smoothly and evenly. Slightly denser than regular Duo+. No issues with clumping whatsoever.
I have been using this cream for 3 months and I can see results. I had many breakouts on my face, but now I am fighting post-acne and the cream is really helping. Sometimes I experience redness, but to avoid it, I use a soothing cream.
I have been using Effaclar Duo for a year now and decided to try Effaclar Duo with SPF for the summer. The consistency is a bit greasy, so I apply less of it, but overall it seems to be working fine.
I am very satisfied with the cream. I don't understand what people mean by "rolling" at all. I haven't noticed anything like that. The texture is gentle and it applies well on the skin. Read the instructions for use and you will be happy. Good luck to everyone and stay positive. Special thanks to the makeup artist!
I bought the entire Effaclar line. I like everything except for this cream. In hot weather, when my face and neck sweat, the cream instantly rolls into white clumps and flakes off, or gets caught in my hair. I tried applying it in thick layers, as sunscreens require, and also very thinly - the result is the same. Unfortunately, I couldn't assess the sunscreen benefits since I didn't stay in the sun for long, but overall, this product is completely unsuitable for daily use.
The cream does not apply well and tends to roll off the face.
Never apply it under foundation! It starts to roll off after a few hours and gives the sensation/appearance of highly flaky skin.
