I don't understand the hype around this petroleum jelly. It doesn't work on lips as a super moisturizer overnight. The same balm with paste from Lakalut works hundreds of times better (it's a pity that it's no longer available because it was the best in terms of moisturizing compared to all others I've tried, even better than the heavily advertised brand). It just has a good jar and is thick, but that's about it. Give me real petroleum jelly, I don't appreciate lard on my hands.

This excellent lip balm is perfect for chapped and dry lips. It also works wonders on the skin of the feet and hands, effectively performing its emollient function.

I apply it on my lips at night and they feel very soft in the morning. However, when I first apply it, it feels like some kind of clay that needs to be warmed up on the lips.

This is a savior for my husband's cracked, cold hands. It greatly helps heal wounds and softens the skin. It is practically odorless and a wonderful remedy.

In my opinion, Vaseline is the best among all the petroleum jellies (at least, among the ones I have used). It has the best consistency and is truly pure, without any taste. I have been using petroleum jelly (not this exact one) for many years during the cold season - I "seal" it with hand cream overnight. Only this method helps me fight against dryness and cracks on my fingers. I have replaced all lip balms with this Vaseline. It provides the same effect, but without any fragrances or dyes. It stays on the lips much longer than lip balms, effectively softens and moisturizes, without any bitterness or spreading. The only downside is that I wish there was a stick or tube version of this Vaseline, so I wouldn't have to dig my fingers into the jar.

I purchased this product after discovering that Petrolatum was the main ingredient in my previous night lip mask. Why pay more when this does the job? I have dry lips (sometimes with flakes), and using vaseline overnight has made them soft. It's a fantastic product.
