Advantages of the fragrance: long-lasting, with a good sillage, moderately sweet, unique, refined and masculine, yet affordable.
Disadvantages: slightly outdated composition, meaning it is not the trendy, overly sweet and youthful "Dior Homme with Pattinson" type of fragrance, which can actually be seen as an advantage.

These are excellent perfumes. I have ordered them for my husband not for the first time. They are a bit sharp at the beginning, but after about 15 minutes, they mellow out and reveal their true scent.

Guys, this fragrance is very strong and aggressive. I've seen comparisons with Jean Paul Gaultier's Le Male, and maybe it's somewhat similar, but only after a couple of hours when Joop settles down. Overall, I would say it's not similar at all.

At first, I was puzzled by how intense it is, and even after two days, I still am. It's a shame there are no samples available; I would have never ordered it if I had the chance to try it beforehand. It's hard to imagine who this scent could appeal to; it strongly reminds me of air fresheners in toilets, and there's something off-putting about it.

When I came across descriptions of this fragrance online, I got the impression that it would be something sweet and youthful, but not light. I was wrong. Also, after applying it, I realized that its longevity is exceptional.

I apologize to all the fans of this fragrance, but I give it a rating of 2, not a 1, because of its longevity and because it's unlike anything I've ever encountered.

The fragrance is wonderful. I bought it for my husband on his birthday. At first, it seemed to me that the scent was not very strong, but after it had aired out a bit, it became very pleasant and sweet. It is also long-lasting, it stayed on my wrist all day until I took a shower. I bought it based on the recommendation of my Italian stepfather. He adores this perfume. And my mom said she fell in love with it when she smelled it.

I bought a fragrance on this website with a volume of 125 ml, it is a new release (manufactured in October 2016). The fragrance is original, very long-lasting, and loud. It lasted more than 8 hours on my skin. I really like the shape of the bottle, as I love bottles with a simple geometric shape, but the cap is too simple, even very simple.

I do not regret purchasing it. I chose this fragrance blindly, relying on reviews on Fragrantica.

The fragrance itself really reminds me of Le Male by Jean Paul Gaultier + cherry (the cherry is probably given by heliotrope combined with vanilla and cinnamon). I confidently compare it to Le Male, as I have a bottle of that fragrance as well. But Joop and Le Male still become different and you need to have both of these fragrances in your collection.

At the beginning, I can hear the cherry strongly in the alcohol and flowers, and then it changes and heliotrope becomes more prominent, with the cherry in the background, but still confidently in second place.

The fragrance is sweet, but not in a feminine way, but rather in a masculine direction. There is a certain bitterness and roughness, which gives every reason to consider it a masculine fragrance.

For example, I love sweet oriental fragrances.

Personally, it smells like a dusty wardrobe, a basement, and an old house to me. I wouldn't say it's unpleasant, but definitely not for young people. And not for middle-aged either. Too bright, too sweet. At the very least, it is unisex, at most, it is feminine. It is very long-lasting, at least 2 days. I didn't expect such a scent, it's really... a distinct cherry scent with a hint of gum.

There are no changes in the scent. If you buy it, either use it for a 100% romantic evening or spray once the day before going out so that it is not as overpowering the next day. Overall, the scent didn't please me as a masculine one, and I don't think I will order it again. However, as a scent, it might work. For men, I recommend Lalique encre noir - you won't regret it.
