Serge Lutens La Religieuse Eau de Parfum

If we were to associate the scent with a color, it would be a violet-gray. I bought it as a winter fragrance. There isn't too much animalistic scent on my skin - it doesn't smell unpleasant. Although there is a hint of something woolen. One time, I applied too much and got a headache. So it needs to be applied in moderation. The fragrance is quite compact, the sillage is not too overpowering. It's unlikely to bother anyone. But I was surprised when I applied it on myself in the evening during the summer heat. The fragrance completely changed, becoming more transparent. It smelled like chewing gum or children's toothpaste to me: a slight freshness even appeared, moderate sweetness, notes of jasmine. This is definitely not an everyday perfume. It can quickly become tiresome. But if you want something unusual - unisex and not girly - it's perfect for you. On men's skin, it smells slightly different. The bottle lasts a long time. Mine is waiting for warmer weather. It needs some time to settle after being shaken during transportation. It lasts for 3-4 hours. I would give it a solid 4.

I didn't buy it here, but I want to share my impression. The first thought after applying it is that this cannot be Serge Lutens, as most of the master's creations are complex, sometimes even heavy to perceive (but that's why I love them even more))). This perfume, however, envelops me in a light cloud of jasmine. I can't detect civet, perhaps because I don't know how it sounds. Then comes the musk, pure and white, followed by frankincense... In the end, everything blends together harmoniously. The fragrance is perfect for everyday wear and any time of the year, with a longevity of exactly 4 hours. I will definitely enjoy using it!
