It's really economical, not sticky, and has a normal scent. I apply it to the roots before styling with a brush. While I dry the left side, the right side dries on its own, even though I have very little hair, as I mentioned above. Yes, it does seem to thicken the hair strands, which is a decent effect. But on my thin blonde hair (short haircut, medium length), the volume is just average, I would like more.

I have very thin and greasy hair at the roots, usually no volume at all. This gel really thickens the hair and adds volume at the roots. The volume looks natural, not like it's been teased. But what I like most is that my hair actually looks thicker and denser with it. Perhaps this is the best thing I have ever tried. So I recommend it :)
