I give one star to grab attention! My first experience using this shampoo was with makeup. I blindly bought it and was pleasantly surprised by the result. It didn't lather much, but it cleansed the hair perfectly, leaving it squeaky clean. However, there's always a "but."

The third time, I bought it at a local supermarket in the household chemicals section, and it was a disaster. Now I understand some of the negative comments! My hair felt soapy, dry, with barely any shine, and it didn't rinse well in warm water, let alone cold water. It lathered up a lot, especially with the second wash, as if I had used a sulfate shampoo! The almond oil I used to apply after heat styling now just makes my hair greasy and can't penetrate through some obvious chemical barrier. My hair became severely damaged and stiff in these three months.

It seems like a counterfeit... at first glance, it has the same consistency and smell! The only difference is that the back label is slightly shifted to the right from the central position. And these kinds of products can leave a terrible impression!!! I don't understand why someone would counterfeit it, especially when there are much more expensive products available. But I figured out the issue and my review might be helpful to someone. After thoroughly cleansing my scalp, this shampoo amazed me. I have tried many luxury, elite, professional ones, etc. Melica is just as good as Kérastase Aura Botanica. If your hair is not colored or heavily damaged, then don't waste your money on more expensive shampoos. This one has a pretty good composition, it doesn't dry out the scalp, and it strengthens with plant extracts and hydrolyzed wheat proteins.
