Byredo La Tulipe Eau de Parfum

"The most beautiful spring-like, fresh monochromatic scent in the world! But of course, one must love the smell of tulips and test it on themselves."

I purchased this fragrance because of its tulip note. Upon application, I didn't immediately detect tulips. Instead, it was a combination of lilac and green, reminiscent of freshly cut grass. As time passed, the lilac subsided and the tulip note emerged. However, it was not the kind of tulip scent you experience by burying your face inside the flower. Instead, it was more like the gentle breeze carrying the scent as you walk through a spring garden.

It is a fresh, delicate, and feminine fragrance, capturing the essence of spring in a bottle. I really like it. I am curious to see how it will evolve in different seasons and temperatures.

This fragrance is not for me at all. I love tulips, but I can't detect them at all in this scent. Some people mentioned that it reminds them of an air freshener, and I agree. It's disappointing.

This fragrance is fantastically beautiful. I had a sample which I bought from a different store chain, not here. The perfumes are delicate, floral, and perfect for spring. The scent is very fresh and juicy. It lasts a long time and leaves a lovely trail. Unfortunately, I cannot afford the full-size version yet, but these perfumes are definitely worth paying attention to. They are very feminine.

It feels like sniffing a bouquet of flowers. The scent is too floral for my taste, not synthetic. It lacks complexity and some kind of shimmer, perhaps because only one note - tulip - is stated in the heart. I will use it depending on my mood, but I doubt I will buy it again.

I have tested this fragrance several times, as my testing experience showed that one time may not be enough to understand it fully. On my nose, it smells like a single scent of tulips, and it is delicate, pure, unobtrusive, and quite long-lasting. However, on my skin, it doesn't fully develop, and the tulip note lingers for only a few hours. Without a doubt, it is a spring fragrance. I enjoyed it, although it might become tiresome over time.

My second attempt at commenting on this perfume has led me to the conclusion that rushing is never a good idea. As soon as I received the perfume, I applied it and immediately made my comments. However, I realized that it needs some time to settle. This perfume is like a bunch of white tulips after the rain - cool, yet it gives the impression of a freshly starched white shirt. It will always uplift and keep you energized!
