La Rive Sweet Rose Eau de Parfum

This fragrance has a very specific and heavy retro smell, which may not be to everyone's liking. Personally, I also couldn't smell any rose notes in it, although I do enjoy roses in perfumes. That's why I blindly purchased a small bottle, hoping to catch a hint of rose, especially since there is a rose depicted on the packaging. However, there is definitely no rose scent in it, just something unclearly sweet and heavy. As always, a fragrance that I don't like seems to cling to me and is difficult to wash off.

The sweet red rose, I liked it more than Kasharel. Get it together with the non-alcoholic deodorant, it will last longer. Don't forget about the price, it's now just a few pennies.

The scent is mature, not traditionally pink; it will be appreciated by lovers of classic, retro fragrances. It is absolutely stunning!

I went to the nearest store and tested all the available La Rive perfumes. I made a note of the ones I liked and ordered them with a huge discount on makeup. This fragrance was my favorite, but after receiving it, the bottle sat in my closet for about three weeks because the scent was very alcoholic. However, it managed to develop and become as it should be. The longevity is average, and it lasts longer on clothing. Don't be lazy to test before buying because sometimes reviews can be misleading.

I am disappointed with this purchase as the description does not match reality at all. I have no idea what kind of roses those people were smelling who wrote in the reviews that these perfumes smell like roses. My mother cultivates roses and we have over 15 different varieties, and there is absolutely nothing even remotely resembling the smell of roses in these perfumes. The scent is sharp, suffocating, and overwhelming. It's the kind of perfume that would make people pass out instead of using smelling salts!

I didn't buy it here, but the alcohol was immediately noticeable. However, after letting the perfume sit for a while, it turned into 100% alcohol. It's even hard to use it as an antiseptic because the smell is nauseating. For this price, it's better to get something from Avon or a similar brand.

The product doesn't smell expensive. It simply has a subtle and delicate scent, that's it.
