I have been searching for an alternative to powder for a long time. I took this paint on a whim, but unfortunately it didn't work out. I used 12.1 + 9% oxide (the recommended one). The roots (about 0.5 cm) acquired a reddish shade. So it seems I still won't be able to live without a touch-up:((( but there is good news - my hair came back to life after coloring! It's like they underwent a reconstructive procedure - they are lively, soft, and easy to style. I'm used to my hair feeling like straw after using Estel, but this time.. I didn't expect it! That's why I'm deducting only one star, because I couldn't lighten it properly.

This paint is quite good as it provides good illumination and the color comes out bright, yet natural. It is gentle enough for blondes, although I always use Wellplex for extra protection. I bought the colors 12/81 and 12/96 along with the developers 6% and 9%.

12/61 ash blonde - gave a nice base ash at the beginning of the blonde, beautiful, not harsh blonde when it fades. I am satisfied, received compliments for beautiful hair. I use it at home with a 6% developer, separately buy from makeup other brands in 60ml. Yes, the dye is a bit thick, slightly sticky, although always fresh. I don't apply it myself, it's a bit heavy - my friend does the coloring, wraps the strands in foil and leaves the roots for about 15 minutes. My must-have for salon-like coloring.

Marina, it's time to follow the instructions. The shade 12.61 +9% developer (original, Wella) is really good. I once used a developer from a different brand, and the shade did have a yellowish tint. But with the original developer, the color is free from any yellow tones (although closer to the roots, the color tends to fade to a yellowish shade before the next dyeing).

Great dye, I use it with a 9% developer, my natural level is 6, and it lightens really well. It can lighten up to level 10 without the need for pre-lightening. And if you choose an ash shade, it doesn't leave any yellow tones. Since I switched to this dye, I've been able to grow my hair to waist-length and the keratin straightening treatment has been a great help.

I tried it for the first time based on my hair stylist's recommendation. Before, I used Matrix Ul-A+ (ashy), but it had a lot of blue pigment and for about two weeks after coloring, I walked around with blue hair...although the color itself was great, it didn't damage my hair and there was no yellowing. This time, I used Koleston 12/61 (also ashy), there is no blue pigment, and the result is hair with a subtle ashy shade, without any yellowing, shiny, and soft. In short, it's an excellent hair dye! I will definitely buy it again.

I have been transitioning to being a "natural blonde" for over five years. I have been using Koleston for about seven months. I only lighten the roots with shade 12/11 and a 9 developer. My hair remains healthy, the color is beautiful, and it lasts a long time. I don't extend it in length, but I also tone it with the Wella San Light series, using the No. 18 developer with 1.5% oxidizer. The color looks natural, and my hair looks expensive.
