Montale Intense Cafe Eau de Parfum

I have always bought the travel version, but I could never find the full size. It's amazing that both the 50ml and 100ml are available now. I really love this fragrance. It sounds different on everyone. It is incredibly beautiful, and the vanilla note is very sensual here.

As always, the quality is top-notch. Some may think that the bottle is not full because it is lightweight and not made of glass. However, if you put it on a scale, the weight corresponds to the indicated volume on the packaging.

The scent is not about the coffee that everyone is looking for in it, but rather about a café. It reminds me of an exquisite French café where the air is filled with the aroma of sweet desserts, fresh bouquets of roses on the tables, and somewhere in the depths of the establishment, a barista is preparing coffee. I can even sense a hint of an expensive cigarette from a just-opened pack. I must say, Montale is not the same as it was 10 years ago when one spray would fill the entire space. It has become more calming, in my opinion. Despite what others may say, compared to some of my other perfumes, it is almost like a breath of fresh air.

Based on the description and notes, it should have been suitable for me. However, unfortunately, it is too heavy for my liking and feels as if it has gone bad or expired. I have tested it several times, but I still couldn't bring myself to make the purchase.

The perfumes are nice, but I am shocked that 1/3 of the bottle is missing. It is very unpleasant, especially since it was intended as a gift.

Two months ago, I tried a sample of this product. I really liked it, as it was very long-lasting. So, I decided to order a 100ml bottle. However, I am very disappointed because it doesn't have the same longevity and sillage. After 1-2 hours, I can't smell it anymore, and there is no lingering scent either. All my acquaintances who own Montale perfumes have an incredible sillage. It's really upsetting because the longevity of the full-sized product is nothing like the sample. Perhaps, it's not an original or it's diluted.

The delivery was very fast, and the communication with the store was quick and convenient. As for the perfume, I must say that the fragrance is sweet and pleasant.

I bought a 100ml bottle based on reviews here, but I regret not getting a sample first. The scent is very overpowering and heavy, making it difficult to distinguish what it actually smells like. I purchased it about 4 years ago and have tried using it in different seasons, only applying a single spray each time. However, if I use it on my hair, the scent prevents me from falling asleep! It is incredibly long-lasting, but for me, it's more of a drawback because I can't tolerate it even for scenting my apartment.

I am extremely disappointed. I have ordered perfumes multiple times and everything was fine. But not this time. After checking the received perfumes using the batch code, they turned out to be expired. The manufacturing date was 2018 and they were supposed to be used by 2021. Not my thing at all. Probably because I am a fan of noble, chypre scents. Immediately, it smells like a coffee cup. In the room, the scent of Montale vanilla, according to those around me. After 30 minutes, it becomes something with an anise note, and later on, it becomes completely unclear what it is. I bought it based on reviews, but I should have gotten a sample instead.

After reading positive reviews, I was really excited to try Montale fragrances. I ordered Intense Cafe, but unfortunately, it was a disappointment for me. It was too strong and sweet, and I couldn't detect the signature musk note that people talk about. I tried wearing it every day, but it seems like it's just not my taste. I'll have to give it to someone who likes it. I also purchased Sweet Peony and Greedy Chocolate, and while they were somewhat appealing, they didn't have that "wow" effect. Candy Rose, Intense Tiare, Intense Roses Musk also had a strong musk presence, overpowering the other notes. However, Sweet Vanilla was my favorite. I could only smell the beautiful bakery-like vanilla, without any hint of peach. It's a shame that the musk notes didn't work for me and I couldn't enjoy the other fragrances.

But I have a question regarding the bottle - it is made of plastic, and the cap (which you press to spray) comes off right away, also made of plastic. How am I supposed to understand this? All the fragrances I had before were in glass bottles with metal sprayers. And here, it's supposed to be niche perfumery, with a high price, and yet it's plastic... However, there is a case for the bottle. Why??? I bought it on Makeup.

I didn't purchase it here, but I want to say that this product is a work of art. I can't get enough of it, but it's not as long-lasting as I expected, only about 5-6 hours and then it disappears. In hot weather, it fades even faster. It doesn't fade away, it simply evaporates, which is a drawback. However, overall, it's a masterpiece for me. Love it forever.
