Today I became the happy owner of another creation by Romano Ricci, "Gentlewoman". The concept is intriguing, as it is essentially a masculine cologne in a feminine interpretation. To my nose, it smells like either expensive French soap in a Parisian hotel or a vintage barbershop somewhere in Milan... This perfume seems fitting for a daring, independent (including financially) intellectual. This fair-haired mademoiselle wears a black and white suit (à la Marlene Dietrich), short red nails, and an elegant handbag. This is definitely not for everyone, and that's where the true chic lies! The perfume's technical characteristics are remarkable. Many thanks to the store for their work!
Underrated fragrance that pleasantly unfolds after a few minutes, with a powdery undertone. It lacks any citrus notes.
Oh my goodness! What a disaster! Where is the citrus? Where is the bergamot? I am in shock. I understand that everyone's perception is different, but to not even get a hint of any note from the fragrance is a first for me. And all because I smelled a paper strip in the store and liked it. But when I wore it, it felt like a combination of synthetic rubber and plastic. It made me feel sick, dizzy, and nauseous. This terrible experience lasted for about five hours, and none of the other notes from the fragrance pyramid came through, by the way. The only positive thing I can say is that it lasted a long time, for what it's worth. People, make sure to test it on yourself!
A very complementary fragrance that combines different notes, which manifest and unfold throughout the day. There is both freshness and citrus, but later on, other specific notes are revealed. There is something cologne-like in a pleasant sense. Long-lasting, with a noticeable trail throughout the day. The scent is definitely not intended for everyday use.
The perfume surprised me with a distinct plastic note that not only lingers in the background but also forms the heart of the scent. It took me a while to figure out what it was. Finally, I realized that the creators interpreted the smell of raw, almond peel in this way. It wouldn't be a problem if there were other notes present - neither the promised bergamot, nor neroli, tonka beans, ambroxan, or musk. It's just one solid plastic almond. Maybe it will improve with time. I strongly recommend testing it before purchasing.
I didn't like the scent, there's a note that bothers me. But it's nice, full-bodied, not your typical luxury fragrance. Although I have nothing against it. It's definitely not a princess-like scent, nor a light citrusy fragrance. It's interesting, with character. Very long-lasting. It stayed on my cold skin all day and even after a shower in the evening. If you're unsure, it's better to get a sample. Maybe it will unfold differently in warm weather, as summer is coming.
Truly extraordinary, this new, expensive fragrance is absolutely worth it. It's not overpowering or artificial, but rather of super high quality. Thank you for your exceptional work, Romano Ricci and Maison!
This fragrance is very interesting. It smells all day on my warm skin, but more of musk and woody notes. At first, you can smell citrus notes, then almond (raw and natural in its peel) comes to the stage, so loud and calming with its beautiful play. Then neroli and orange blossom take the main role, almond becomes quieter, but its soft play is always noticeable. This play lasts for 2-3 hours, then it becomes quietly modest, and after 12 hours, only ambroxan and musk can be heard. The perfume is very easy to distinguish the different notes. Overall, it is a stylish, feminine fragrance with a slight bitterness and tanginess, yet also softness.
Voluminous and rich fragrance with a fairly strong almond note. It's neither sweet nor fresh. I got a sample, and I'm still not sure if I'll purchase the perfume.
When the fragrance revealed itself on my skin, it strongly reminded me of Guerlain's Insolence. I happen to love Insolence, so I really liked the scent.
A fresh, summery scent. It falls in line with Neroli Portofino by Tom Ford, 4711 Original Eau de Cologne by Maurer & Wirtz, and Opium Vapeurs de Parfum by Yves Saint Laurent. The neroli note takes the lead. It has average longevity.
