Color 9.5 mahogany. I liked it. I read that the color comes out darker than in the picture, so I added 2 packets of diluted paint according to the instructions, 1 packet (25g) of regular henna brewed with water and cooled down.
The color is nice, not black but just right, it covered the gray hair perfectly. I am very happy because before I used henna + coffee, the color was nice but not long-lasting.
This one holds up well. I will still have to touch up the roots once a month because they grow out quickly, but it's not a big deal because with just henna, I had to do it every week.
I left it on for 35 minutes.
I will definitely buy it again!

This product effectively covers gray hair and doesn't fade as quickly as henna with indigo. The result is splendid. I will definitely order more!

Girls, I highly recommend it! I used a hair dye without ammonia and it burned me, and when I washed it off, my hair was falling out a lot. But after using this dye, it didn't happen! The color is indeed much darker than what was advertised, but that's not a big problem for me! It's been a month now and the color has faded a little, but it remains vibrant and beautiful! After reading reviews, I immediately got a separate towel for brown hair, so I didn't have any problems with that! And I also think my hair has really improved... I chose the color 9.2 but it's almost black! Next time, I want to mix light brown and brown and see what happens.

I have been using this specific shade of paint, 9.4, for a long time. The color appears lighter in the picture than it does after dyeing. Sometimes I add henna to it, and the shade becomes slightly darker. It wears off just like regular henna, but everyone's hair structure is different. For me, it gives my gray hair a highlighted effect with golden strands. Overall, I am satisfied with it.

I have been using it for over 6 months, and I really like it. The only issue is that it is impossible to remove stains from the towels, so please take note of this.

This is the best henna out of all the ones I have tried. After using the Color Mate henna, my hair becomes denser and the dye enhances each strand, making it 1.5 times thicker and protecting it from harmful external factors. My hair no longer falls out, unlike with other hennas where it was a big issue. The dye is unbelievably long-lasting and covers gray hair; I used shade 9.1. Furthermore, my hair doesn't break like it does with regular hair dyes. I am extremely grateful to Maykapu for the excellent quality of the dye and the pleasant price!

1) It dyes (although it's supposed to be natural dye!!!)
2) It doesn't completely cover gray hair, only about 45-50% :(
3) I can't imagine how anyone can keep it on for an hour and a half?!?! I could barely handle 35 minutes!
4) After dyeing, my hair falls out more than usual (natural dyes don't cause this!!!)
5) It quickly fades from gray hair.
6) The only positive thing is that it makes the hair shiny!!! I used 2 boxes and the conclusion is that I will probably look for something else! If anyone knows a harmless dye (that covers gray hair at least 75%), please let me know.

I also want to leave my review about this hair dye. I have long dark chestnut hair that is almost completely gray. I have never used chemical dyes, only henna. I have tried different ones. My favorite was Chandi until I tried this one (I ordered it as an alternative to Chandi because my color was not available). It covers the gray hair excellently and does not leave any traces on my hands, towel, or bathtub. It has been three weeks now and there is no unpleasant yellow color due to fading. But once again, the problem is that my color (9.2) is not available.

This paint is pretty average, it stains the fabric. I didn't notice any longevity in it. I'd rather go for plain henna without any added shades.

After not receiving a response from the moderators, I decided to try the paint myself. The paint is really good. It comes in a pack of 5, and I used 2 packs (my hair is slightly below shoulder length), which is great considering the price. I followed the instructions and the mixture turned out a bit thin, but if you get used to applying it, it goes on easily and doesn't drip, which is also important. The color is exactly as advertised, and by the way, the color is simply fantastic - a dark brown with a chocolate undertone. The biggest plus for me is that there is no chemical smell or anything like that. I highly recommend it!!!

Very good henna. Shade 9.2 held for 45 minutes on my thin chestnut hair, dark almost black, saturated color, just as I wanted. On the package, it is almost a light brown. I applied it to dry clean hair, with a packet and towel on top, felt a pleasant warmth. I did not add oils as recommended, did not rinse with vinegar, hair is soft, shiny, not over-dried. I am satisfied, will continue to use it.

You need to use this hair dye very carefully. I got the shade 9.7 - light brown. However, I ended up with almost black hair color((. I have been using henna-based dyes in brown for a long time. This time I chose light brown after reading reviews stating that the brown shade gives a dark color. The dye doesn't wash out, and I have been going around with black hair for a month now. I only gave it two stars because the dye doesn't damage my hair.

I have been using this hair dye for about two years. I decided to write a review because I haven't seen anyone mention this: the dye washes out of my hair in about two weeks, sometimes even longer! No, the color and quality of my hair remain good, just as the other girls mentioned. I purchased the shade 9.7. It is not exactly brown or light, but the color turned out to be very beautiful on my grown-out hair. However, on previously dyed hair, it appeared darker. I have previously used Schwarzkopf Brilliance, I don't remember the shade (something in chestnut-chocolate color), and the color is exactly the same. It covered my gray hair perfectly. The only downside for me was that it slightly tingled and was a bit thin when mixed according to the instructions.

I agree with the previous comment. This hair dye is excellent as it effectively strengthens the hair. However, it doesn't completely wash out, so you'll have to wait for your hair to grow out. Additionally, the shade 9.2 is practically black.

I have been using this hair dye for almost a year now, and I chose the burgundy shade. This dye is amazing, the color and shine are top-notch, so rich and vibrant. Many girls complain that it dries out their hair, but that only happens after the dyeing process because you don't need to wash it out with shampoo and conditioner. I add a few drops of any Indian oil, like amla or coconut oil, to the dye. It works perfectly with the oil. I've even applied it to unwashed hair, rinsed it with shampoo, and used conditioner as usual, and my hair remained soft. If you don't wash out the henna with shampoo, your hair will have incredible volume, as if it's doubled in size, and it will feel strong and resilient. Personally, I am delighted with this hair dye, it suits me well, and I use it in different variations.

I like that there is no smell, but the consistency is off and the color does not stick. It lasts for a long time, but no paint adheres to it afterwards. Maybe it suits someone, as there are many good comments. However, it seems that the moderators delete the negative ones! Do the moderators really do that?

I bought a 9.1 shade, but it only works for short and very sparse hair. If you have thick and long hair, you'll have to dye it all day and the result won't please you. It doesn't untangle and it clumps together.

I am satisfied with the paint I bought in color 9.3, although the shade on the box is slightly different. It turned out to be darker on my hair, but that's okay. At least it looks natural and my hair is shiny. I recommend it.

I have tried many different henna products, but COLOR MATE is by far the best. It effectively covers gray hair and lasts for a long time. The color and shine on my hair stay for about two months, and I only need to touch up the regrowth. Since using this henna, my hair has become healthier and stopped falling out. I used shade 9.2, and it turned out slightly dark, closer to black. My friend also used the same shade, but her color turned out more brown, although she originally had blonde hair and I have brunette hair.

To solve this issue, I mixed shades 9.7 and 9.4 in a ratio of 1:2. This created a light brown color with a hint of gold. I only needed 90g for the length of my hair, and I am very satisfied with the results. This henna is amazing! I also want to try mixing shades 9.1 black and 9.5 mahogany. I read that it creates a beautiful redwood shimmer.
