They lay flat, instead of sticking out like before. My hair is slightly longer than shoulder length, so three pumps are enough. It seems to me that it will be used up quickly. But that's okay because it's very affordable and the results are fantastic. It's a shame that the smell cannot be conveyed... And a huge plus is that it comes with a dispenser.
