I just tried this shampoo for the first time. It immediately relieved the itching of my scalp, removed dandruff, and my scalp feels noticeably fresher. However, my hair looks terrible, I could barely comb it... The tar smell didn't go away after it dried. But I can't stand the unbearable itchiness and greasiness of my hair anymore.
I hope the effect will last long. And I hope to find some conditioner to mask the shampoo's smell.

This is a very good shampoo. I saw results immediately after the first use. I had an allergic reaction to another shampoo, my scalp was red and I had breakouts and the itching didn't stop for two weeks. My doctor recommended this brand of shampoo. After the first use, the itching stopped and my skin wasn't as red (I didn't use anything else, so the effect is 100% from this shampoo). Again, everyone is different.

As for the smell, I wouldn't say it's so horrible that you can't breathe. It has a normal, "medicinal" smell, I would say.

As soon as I feel that something is wrong, I wash my hair with this shampoo once a week, and use a different one for the other 1-2 times. Everything works great. The scent is as it should be, like tar, so it's strange to lower the ratings for that. It cleanses very well after using hair oils like castor oil, etc. And if used with oil, it doesn't dry out the hair. In short, it's a worthy product at a good price. I constantly buy it.
