I can't say how it affects hair dye because I only dyed my hair for the first time using a 3% hydrogen peroxide, so the dye naturally washed out within a week. However, I can feel that the sulfates in this shampoo are not very aggressive, it has a gentle and soft consistency. I have ordered another jar.
