The fragrance Via Camerelle is named after the most famous, bustling commercial street on the enchanting island of Capri. Legend has it that back in the distant year of 1380, on the occasion of the queen's arrival, local monks lavishly decorated their monastery with flowers from the island. Later, with the help of an alchemist, they created the first perfumes based on these flowers. Many centuries later, in 1948, a new abbot discovered the formula of this ancient perfume and attempted to recreate it. Thus, from a unique and romantic legend, the renowned perfume house Carthusia was founded, captivating with its beautiful fragrances to this day.
In the Carthusia Via Camerelle fragrance, the freshness of lemon and bitter orange is distinctly present, combined with the notes of sea moss and cedarwood. This unisex perfume is designed for joyful men and women alike, to celebrate together their love for the sea, flowers, and life!
The description missed mentioning marjoram, but it takes the lead here. The pyramid contains everything that was promised, with no surprises. Marjoram on a pillow made of ripe oranges/lemons, which dilute watery white flowers, hinting at sweetness, all on a musky cedar base. The latter gives the scent weight and a certain aristocracy. Refreshing, not heavy, harmonious, sunny. And absolutely not cologne-like. Those who write such things have never used a good cologne or water. And their greatest advantage is that there are no copies or anything similar among others.
Great scent! It smells fresh with a hint of marjoram and something else that's pleasantly natural. It doesn't last very long on the skin, about 3-4 hours. But the satisfaction it brings is abundant!
