Yerbamate by Lorenzo Villoresi is an exquisite, fresh scent that evokes the endless green fields touching the sky. It is an unforgettable fragrance of green leaves and flowers, warmed by the sun.
An intense, multifaceted scent that unfolds beautifully in damp weather and sounds softly on a warm summer day. It embodies the early morning and the dew washing over the grass; the scorching day sunbathed in sunlight; and the honey in the buds of wild flowers.
At its heart lies lavender, green notes, tea, grass, maté, and hay. The scent of mint, ylang-ylang, maté, and citrus is mesmerizing. They are further enhanced by galbanum, French labdanum, oakmoss, patchouli, vetiver, spices, tea, woody notes.
Lively, juicy, and expressive, the Yerbamate perfume fills you with radiant energy.Release Date: 2001

A magnificent scent! At the beginning, there is a slightly bitter, dry, spicy green note, dusty and warm. It changes significantly as it unfolds, transforming into a beautiful delicate creamy powder. I can detect hints of condensed milk here. When I picked up a t-shirt that had the fragrance applied a few days ago, it emitted an incredible smell! The trail is beautiful and the scent is long-lasting.
For me, this is a meditative fragrance. There is no hint of balm here, which is a good thing. It is a luxurious fragrance for "being with oneself and dreaming."
+1 for being called "Zvyozdochka" (a nickname). There is no mate (a type of tea) in it, not even close. I don't know what kind of mate those people who claim to smell it in this fragrance were drinking. In my opinion, it's practically a complete copy of the Soviet perfume "Krasnaya Moskva," which makes me sneeze and cry. It's impossible to use. It's good that I bought a sample, but even those 70 hryvnias (currency) are a waste. The scent doesn't match the description at all, it's horrible.
It's grown on me. I've come to accept it. Not that I'm exactly thrilled, but the grass and hay notes have become a bit more prominent, and the mint, tarragon, and mate are not as overpowering anymore. They seem to have harmonized, so to speak. It probably won't become a favorite, but I'll still wear it :)
I apologize to the supporters of this fragrance for the low rating. I bought it without trying it first, and immediately spent a lot of money on it, being impressed by Teint de Neige and thinking that the perfume's description would perfectly match reality this time. Unfortunately, the author and I have different ideas about the scent of mowed grass and hay. Although, after standing for a little while, the scent scares me a little less, so I won't go into lengthy descriptions - it smells like the "Zvezdochka" balm from Soviet times. Vietnamese or Chinese, or Indian - I don't remember anymore. There was such a strong-smelling balm that not only mosquitoes, but ants were afraid of it, and Soviet citizens actively used it. After the first application, a thought struck me like thunder - it's something painfully familiar from childhood, from medicine... At this stage of testing and wearing it in current weather conditions - tarragon with mint, strongly mixed with mate, kills everything around. No hay, no grass. And I really wanted to, I believed... Complete disappointment. Familiar men, to put it bluntly, are not thrilled with it. In general, I am still in an unpleasant shock, maybe in warm weather it won't be so... harsh. I do not recommend buying it without trying it first.
Amazing scent! From the first notes, there is a bitter greenness of fragrant herbs, which then smoothly softens and lightly powders, giving off a sweetish scent of hay. Very natural and mood-boosting! I am delighted with Lorenzo Villorézi!
