Cacharel Lou was crafted by the French house Cacharel, inspired by the classic silent film of the 1930s, "Pandora’s Box." The perfumers aimed to capture the fatal and devilish beauty of the heroine named Loulou, portrayed by the remarkable Louise Brooks.
The uniqueness of Ms. Brooks' role lies in the fact that the heroine had to combine the features of innocent young beauty with the power of a femme fatale, toying with inexperienced men. To achieve a worthy result, they skillfully blended various oriental and floral scents. The initial chord instantly captivates with an inexpressible maneuver, where floral-fruity notes of plum and blackcurrant blend with the classic notes of violet and oriental anise.

Over the past 20 years, I have lost count of how many bottles of this perfume I have purchased, maybe the fifth or sixth one. I really love them! It's not just a fresh scent, it's like magical herbal potion! I have quite a large collection of different perfumes, some have been average, but Lulu seems to be with me forever))) It slightly reminds me of the classic Poison by Dior, but Lulu is more delicate, without the overpowering trail. Although I don't like categorizing perfumes by age, Lulu is definitely for mature women, not young girls.

Long-lasting, Lulu "Lolita" is packed with so much aphrodisiac in one bottle and the colors blend beautifully with each other. It brings delight and warmth during the winter time. The bottle itself is like a cute trinket for a girl (the inner child) in her childhood. It feels pleasant to touch and explore with fingers. The facets, the color... it's all about harmony.

Many people simply won't understand. Be cautious. I love-love it! Even the bottle, which I didn't like before, now seems quite fitting. I will definitely repurchase. Oh, and in my opinion, it's a masterpiece!

Over time, the fragrance calms down and the vanilla starts to come through. It's a very intriguing perfume, I recommend giving it a try. It will last for a long time since you don't need to apply a lot.
My Lou Lou has arrived... Well, I must say... I was expecting more. It has a very subtle scent. Not a hint of sweetness. Out of all the reviews I've read, I can agree that there is a hint of lipstick scent, but not a modern one with fruity-caramel notes, rather something from the past - slightly bitter. Something reminiscent of classic Poison. But it's just one note that comes to mind when trying to find this similarity. Poison is much louder and smoother. At the beginning, it reminds me of dry gouache paints. I think it's safe to apply three sprays. Mine is still quite young, produced in April. Maybe it will mature and strengthen, and become louder?)))
This fragrance smells like old age, even antiquity. I can't imagine how anyone could wear this scent. Thankfully, it is infused with the miraculous essential oil of frankincense and Soviet red Moscow. Its longevity and sillage are killer. Just one drop is enough to kill everything alive around.
This fragrance is luxurious and vintage. Initially heavy and not resembling a feminine perfume, it gradually unfolds throughout the day and becomes delicate, feminine, barely noticeable, and powdery. I have purchased it twice before. Once abroad, 4 years ago. It had an incredibly long-lasting scent and left a trail. This time, I bought it through a Ukrainian makeup store because it was not available from the EU and there still isn't an option to order it. The lasting power is average and there is no trail.

It has a unique, resinous-plum, smoky, and tuberose scent. It reminds me vaguely of the classic Christian Dior Poison fragrance from the old school. It is intense, without being overly sweet, but it has a Christmas vibe to it.

After reading many reviews, I wanted and was afraid to order myself Lu Lu, expecting an incredibly loud fragrance and incredible longevity. Lu Lu reminds me of both Poison and Poeme at the same time, but she is so quiet, too delicate - I spray it four times, and no one around me can hear anything! And where is the promised sillage? I really wanted it. Overall, I don't know what's wrong with my Lu Lu, but for now, I'll let it settle and see how it goes.
