FERRI-Check® — a specific rapid immunodiagnostic test for assessing ferritin levels in the blood. Ferritin is a protein that stores iron in the cells. The test can be used to identify potential iron deficiency (anemia).
The FERRI-Check® test is recommended when experiencing symptoms such as paleness, fatigue, headaches, rapid heartbeat, or shortness of breath during physical activities—especially during pregnancy or heavy menstruation. Iron deficiency anemia is common among children and women of all ages, particularly menstruating women, with at least 20% of them suffering from iron deficiency.
The package contains all materials necessary for the test: - 1 sealed aluminum pouch containing 1 test cassette, 1 plastic pipette, and 1 desiccant pouch. Before use, the test should be stored in its tightly sealed packaging. Do not use the desiccant pouch. - 1 dropper bottle containing 1 ml of diluent - 1 sterile lancet for blood sampling - 1 instruction leaflet.
