A fragrance for enthusiasts, but no one from my circle liked it. It's surprising to see so many positive reviews...

The fragrance is very strong. It's a good thing I didn't apply it on myself. I'm confident it will sit well in the cold weather during autumn. However, it seems like it shouldn't be sprayed directly on the body. Instead, it's better to create a mist and walk through it, since it's powerful. Oh, and thank you for the clutch and face cream. The clutch is simply amazing!

Oh, it's fantastic! At first, when I received the package (it was coming from the EU), I was disappointed.... Where is the orient? Where are the depth and spices??? Only one wilted herb, like dried grass (I guess those are the green notes mentioned in the pyramid). But once it warmed up and settled... it's just something else! A spicy, oriental, resinous marvel! Exactly what I was looking for, no overly sweet or fruity notes like peaches/watermelons and such! The wilted autumn herb didn't disappear))) but it got surrounded by other harmonious notes and turned into a perfume masterpiece! Blissful ecstasy! The longevity and sillage are among the best in my perfume collection.
Don't buy it without testing it first. Those who prefer modern fragrances might find it probably repulsive)))) it has such a deep scent, incomparable to modern ones! I'm glad I added it to my perfume shelf) very glad!

I've never experienced such depth in a fragrance before. When I apply it on my wrists and inhale, it breathes with me, as if it's alive, changing its scent with every breath. If Truth is the smell of freshly cut green grass with field flowers near the water for me, then Obsession is the magic of a deep ancient impenetrable forest heated by the scorching sun, so dense and thick that the sunrays don't pass through the leaves to reach the ground... and with the first spray of this perfume, I am transported into that forest, amidst the abundance of ripe grass surrounded by an old tree and sun-warmed foliage! And incense, so much incense... it's mine! That's why another bottle of this enchanting potion is on its way to me.

Today at work, I received my order (I got the 30ml size because I didn't know this scent). I opened the bottle and sprayed a little bit.. my colleagues immediately described it as "masculine, strong, and heavy", but after 10 minutes, everyone was raving about it, everyone liked it. The scent unfolded, there is a hint of bitterness, and some spiciness, but it's all quite soft and pleasant.

I received it, sprayed it, and heard a single note of cinnamon. I gave it to my husband, convincing him that it was a masculine scent. He liked it. Today I received Obsession and was slightly surprised. The perfume indeed smells like lacquered jewelry boxes and pine trees for about two hours after application, and then it becomes powdery. It is necessary to apply it two hours before going out in public, otherwise people won't understand the scent. I don't fully understand the perfumer who created this fragrance. I received the fragrance today. I agree with what was written that when you open the perfume cap, the first notes are the classic Guerlain Shalimar scent, powdery and oriental.

But then the composition of this fragrance surprised me and took me on a path to a little house in the mountains among fir trees, where it's snowing, freezing, and there's a fireplace burning inside... and here's the main part - iris, wood, little crackles - and this immediately reminded me of the men's fragrance Dior Homme Intense - the perfumed version. It's warm, woody, powdery, cozy, and romantic.

I don't see this fragrance on a young girl. Because she simply won't understand it. (except for lovers of powdery scents)))))

I didn't buy it here, so I can't say for everyone, but to me, it reminds me of Marusya by Zaitsev, I even compared both (although Obsession only lasted a couple of days). However, Marusya is even a bit sweeter. Maybe if it rests a little longer, new notes will emerge, but for now, there is a lot of pine.
