Once again, I am convinced that I do not recommend buying an unfamiliar perfume based on comments. The scent is not feminine or unisex at all. It smells like an older man, around 55 years old... So I will give it to my father if he likes it...

Love at first sniff. Initially, the scent is sharp and tangy, but then it becomes soft and enveloping. It is very, very long-lasting, leaving a trail behind. The smell of patchouli is still noticeable on clothes even after washing, and it lingered on my hair for two days.

This perfume, despite being from 1985, sounds modern. You can feel it in the ingredients. It is a modern gourmet fragrance. Try applying it on a cotton pad and placing it in the room, then smell the trail from a distance - absolutely no 80s vibes. You can find similar sounds in modern niche perfumes. I can easily imagine it on a man who wears sweet scents. I bought the 30ml size.

First, it smells like grandma's triple cologne, then cinnamon + whiskey. This is my favorite winter scent, but I feel like it's not very long-lasting, or maybe I just can't smell it anymore. It's as if I've merged with it completely.

I love buying this fragrance for winter. But my last purchase was a big disappointment, unfortunately... It smells like medicine, some kind of chemical... The bottle and appearance seem the same... but nooo... it feels like wasted money.

I did not buy it here, but I would like to write a review about the perfume itself. I must say that you definitely cannot buy it blindly without testing it, as I did. I ordered it online. And as soon as I opened it, it seemed to me that it was of poor quality or simply old and faded. I was very disappointed. I tried wearing it occasionally, but it didn't suit me... (I don't like light and sweet scents.) Now I'm in search of something new and unusual. And so, after standing on the shelf for two years, I started sniffing this fragrance again. And there is something about it that is so appealing. In short, after two years of purchase, I started liking them. But the scent is very intense and long-lasting, so one spray will be enough. I found it overwhelming with two sprays, maybe that's why I didn't appreciate the full aroma right away.

It smells like a fairytale! As if I opened Grandma's chest. The initial notes are resinous and quite sharp, then I distinctly heard anise, and afterwards a delicious powder remained. Definitely a winter perfume. I think we will become friends.

I ordered this perfume blindly after reading numerous reviews. I didn't detect any resemblance to the smell of goats, burnt tires, grandma's wardrobe, or the cologne that some dissatisfied ladies mentioned. I sat next to the birthday girl and occasionally inhaled this fragrance. At the beginning, I felt like I was walking through a freshly mowed grass field after rain in the summer. After an hour, the scent of chocolate, rum, vanilla, and some flowers started to emerge. For the next 4 hours, I distinctly felt a powdery-spicy trail. The smell is very feminine, multifaceted, and absolutely not retro. Many thanks to Makeup for the fast delivery, despite the difficulties of shipping during wartime. I bought a tester for a small amount of money, and the batch code 1174 on the box and at the bottom of the bottle matched, indicating that it was manufactured on June 23, 2021. 100% original. I will update my review from a year ago because I am amazed by the transformations in the sound of Obsession. I rarely used it, it sat for almost a year, not that I didn't like it, but I didn't feel any special love for it, just a New Year's, spicy-vanilla scent. Now, in the heat of +30 degrees and high humidity, it revealed something unimaginable when applied spontaneously: crushed grass, ripe leaves, pine needles, coriander, cardamom, sharp-spicy basil, all seasoned with vanilla, not overly sweet and with a background of oak - maybe bark. If you listen carefully, there are a few animalic notes, in this case - clean cat fur. Sensual, languid, deep, impossible to get enough of, I spray it at home and enjoy it. Maybe it's the temperature, maybe it's a year of aging, but I will consider getting a second bottle. I'm writing this to encourage those who didn't immediately like it - give it some time. Just like me.

If Truth is the smell of freshly cut green grass with field flowers near the water for me, then Obsession is the magic of a deep ancient impenetrable forest heated by the scorching sun, so dense and thick that the sunrays don't pass through the leaves to reach the ground... and with the first spray of this perfume, I am transported into that forest, amidst the abundance of ripe grass surrounded by an old tree and sun-warmed foliage! And incense, so much incense... it's mine! That's why another bottle of this enchanting potion is on its way to me.

Oh, it's fantastic! At first, when I received the package (it was coming from the EU), I was disappointed.... Where is the orient? Where are the depth and spices??? Only one wilted herb, like dried grass (I guess those are the green notes mentioned in the pyramid). But once it warmed up and settled... it's just something else! A spicy, oriental, resinous marvel! Exactly what I was looking for, no overly sweet or fruity notes like peaches/watermelons and such! The wilted autumn herb didn't disappear))) but it got surrounded by other harmonious notes and turned into a perfume masterpiece! Blissful ecstasy! The longevity and sillage are among the best in my perfume collection.
Don't buy it without testing it first. Those who prefer modern fragrances might find it probably repulsive)))) it has such a deep scent, incomparable to modern ones! I'm glad I added it to my perfume shelf) very glad!
