Ecotin® is a preservative produced by bacteria living in harsh climates to protect themselves and survive. It binds water molecules around itself, forming a protective layer that prevents water loss from the skin's surface and shields the skin from harmful effects of sunlight and visible light.

The patented sea buckthorn extract is rich in Omega-7, tocopherol (vitamin E), and carotenoids.
