Facial Clay – A Wealth of Minerals in Your Cosmetic Bag
We could write extensively about the origin of clay, but we prefer to be concise, so here’s a brief overview. Clays are extracted from the depths of the earth. They are formed through a variety of processes—chemical, biological, and geological. The most valuable clay is found deep underground.
Each type of facial clay—of which there are many—is rich in trace elements such as magnesium, calcium, iron, and silicon. These minerals in clay are easily absorbed, which accounts for their popularity in natural skincare. They are effectively used in numerous cosmetic products, including creams, soaps, shampoos, and even body scrubs and bath salts. They also work wonderfully on their own.
Silicon, aluminum, magnesium, iron, calcium, zinc, and sodium are excellent for rejuvenating the skin, giving it a perfect complexion, and promoting health and purification. Orange clay protects against free radicals, and as a bonus, it acts like a boost of positive energy—this is no metaphor. Additionally, it strengthens and brightens the skin, giving it an attractive glow.
Orange clay is an excellent base for an invigorating mask for tired skin.Fragrance: Fragrance-free product

You can mix the clay with water or a hydrosol. Add a few drops of your favorite oil, serum, or even yogurt to the mask. It's important to ensure the clay doesn't dry out on your face – spritzing it with water or a hydrosol can help. You can also mix different types of facial clays.
An ideal base for a cleansing face mask:
Mix a tablespoon of clay with your favorite hydrosol and 4–5 drops of your chosen oil until it forms a paste. Apply the mask evenly to your face. Rinse off after 10 minutes. Remember to keep the mask from drying out – spritz your face with a hydrosol to maintain moisture.
Store in a dry, shaded place. Avoid contact with eyes. Discontinue use if irritation occurs.
