The oriental-spicy, original unisex fragrance celebrates a sensual, refined nature, not devoid of a daring madness within. The opening notes captivate with bright, resonant chords of sharp-sweet paprika, pink pepper, and the joyful mandarin. The "heart" of the fragrance sparkles with magical notes of orchid and the fruity sweetness of plum. The enticing core of the composition is completed by a lingering, stretching incense.
The exquisite bouquet of Etat Libre D'orange Archives 69 concludes its harmony with the beauty of camphor, benzoin, musk, and the exotic sensuality of patchouli. This unique fragrance gently envelops the wearer in a mysterious haze, transforming into an exquisite chord of luxury. Seductive, multifaceted trails entice with the mystery of the unsaid and ambiguity. A perfume for those free in spirit and independent personalities with a bright and self-sufficient character.
I am thrilled with it! It is unconventional and interesting. As mentioned below, it truly is the perfect autumn scent. It smells like yellowed leaves, pepper, a hint of plum, and old furniture paper. Both old (in an old building with archives, where old furniture and peeling walls are) and new. And incense. The incense here is genuine church incense. It's beautiful. The scent is warm, cozy, and spicy enough. It's a clean unisex fragrance. Although I can't quite imagine it on a man yet. It's a matter of personal preference. But I turned out to be a fan. My husband also liked it. But not my mom or friends. So, I probably wouldn't recommend this scent without testing it first. The only downside is that I would prefer it to be longer-lasting.
I would love to purchase all of the creations from Etat Libre d'Orange. These perfumes are very unique. I can't really feel them on myself, and it even disappointed me that they're not long-lasting. However, I started receiving a few compliments about the scent. I haven't read similar reviews on Fragrantica, but to me, they smell like a freshly opened box of colored pencils. :)
