One of the main stages in this system is color setting, which significantly extends the wear time of nails. For this purpose, the brand OPI has developed the Powder Perfection Color Set Powder, which fixes the previous shades and prevents them from losing their brightness during the final filing as well as during wear. It makes the coating more resistant to chips and damage, significantly adding to its durability. The almost instant drying time means you don't have to worry about contaminating the activator or top coat with colored particles, and the lack of need for lamp curing allows you to forget about the negative effects of ultraviolet light on the skin. This is an indispensable part of the dip system, making it even easier and faster to achieve perfect nails.

Using a brush, apply one layer of Powder Perfection Base Coat to a single nail, ensuring the entire surface is evenly covered. Immediately dip the finger into the colored powder at a 45-degree angle and tap off any excess powder. Repeat this process for the remaining nails. Use a sanitized cosmetic brush to remove any residual powder from each nail. Apply a second layer of Powder Perfection Base Coat and the colored powder to each nail following steps 1–3. Brush on a third layer of Powder Perfection Base Coat and dip into Clear Color Set Powder at a 45-degree angle. Remove any excess dipping powder. Generously apply one layer of Powder Perfection Activator to the entire nail surface, sealing the free edge to ensure the powder is completely enclosed. Wait for the dipping powder to harden. Shape and contour the nails with an EDGE file with 180 grit. Buff the nail surface with a 100-grit buffer, followed by a 220-grit buffer, to create a smooth finish. Remove any excess filing dust. Apply a second layer of Powder Perfection Activator, making sure to cover the entire nail. Wait a few minutes for it to dry. Evenly apply one layer of Powder Perfection Top Coat with 2–3 quick brush strokes. Wait 1–2 minutes for it to dry. Carefully apply a second layer of Powder Perfection Top Coat with 2–3 brush strokes. Wait 1–2 minutes for it to dry. Once dry, apply ProSpa Nail & Cuticle Oil to the cuticles and massage it in.
