I used this paint at the salon and was absolutely delighted. I tried it at home with igora 3% 1:1 oxidant, 6 84w, and it resulted in such a color on my cool chestnut hair. It is darker than the usual 6 shade, but it might fade a bit more over time. Although the color didn't fade much and had an incredible shine after the salon, they added tbh lotion there. Without it, the shine is slightly less, but my hair still feels smooth and well-groomed. The shade has a reddish tint. Let's see how it washes out.
I bought the shade 5.16C for myself because I was tired of being a blonde and wanted a more natural look. My natural hair color is something between ashy-brown and dark ashy-brown. After dyeing my hair using Igora 1.9% developer, I initially became very dark, but over time it started to fade beautifully and settled on a color that is almost identical to my natural shade, just without the ashy undertone. The difference between the dyed and my natural hair is barely noticeable.
