Before using the sponge for the first time, rinse it thoroughly. Before each subsequent application of foundation or any creamy product, soak the sponge thoroughly under warm running water. Do not seal the damp sponge in containers, drawers, bags, etc. Ensure it has direct air access while drying. You can disinfect the sponge with disinfectant solutions. It is recommended to replace the sponge every six months at most.
