Introducing the enchanting violet, radiating tenderness and multiplying mystery, crafting a magnetic persona. This is the vibe encapsulated by the dynamic fragrance Dolce Violet from the esteemed brand Dolce&Gabbana. Classified under the floral-fruity category, it blends sweet, fresh, and tart motifs. The scent awakens decisiveness and self-confidence, empowering you to feel like the main character. Its beautiful bottle, in a noble purple hue, will adorn your shelf.
The olfactory pyramid of Dolce Violet by Dolce & Gabbana:
Top notes combine citrusy chords of mandarin, the freshness of blackcurrant leaves, and violet motifs of cyclamen, unveiling a spring-like freshness.
Middle notes unfold with the tart sweetness of pear, bright overtones of violet, alongside juicy and fresh nuances of blackcurrant.
Base notes create a sweet trail with woody motifs, featuring chords of Madagascar vanilla, oriental shades of musk, and honeyed notes of sandalwood.
This is a lovely toilet water. It has a hint of violets, a touch of blackcurrant (not as pronounced as in other perfumes), and a slight hint of lilac (which is not mentioned in the description). It has a warm, fruity-floral scent, perfect for spring or summer. The fragrance sits close to the skin and does not have a long-lasting trail, lasting no more than 3 hours. Just like the peony, rose, and shine in this collection, it needs to be reapplied every few hours, so it's advisable to purchase a small spray bottle and carry it with you. Overall, I have positive impressions of both the fragrance and the delivery. As always, it was prompt and of high quality.
However, I do have one concern. I love Dolce Gabbana, but I was surprised to find that the bottle I received from Europe, thanks to makeup, had a sticker instead of engraving (as in previous bottles from the same series). The bottle itself is completely identical. It doesn't resemble a copy. (Because I have a genuine copy of Rosa Excelsa in my collection, which my friend bought without realizing it was a fake, and even the flower-shaped cap and the bottom of the bottle are different). Therefore, this original Dolce Gabbana bottle is absolutely no different from the others in this series, except for the engraving/sticker on the bottom.
I hope this is a trend of Dolce Gabbana trying to save on labeling rather than duplicating from Italy. I draw the attention of Make-up to this issue.
I have seen many counterfeits claiming to be from Procter & Gamble, England. They usually have a similar bottle design to the fake one: the same flower (which is more raised and taller, with a thicker bottom of the bottle). Therefore, it doesn't look very much like a counterfeit.
