Maybelline The Falsies Surreal Mascara Volumizing & Lengthening Mascara

The mascara is not great, I expected more for this price. Other options from this brand are much better.

This mascara is simply awful. It barely stays on until the end of the day, it flakes off, and it makes everything under the eyes look black. This is the first time I've seen such an effect from Maybelline mascara.

The effect is amazing. However, it horribly crumbles and smudges.

The mascara is great. I had a nervous breakdown at work, I cried 7 times a day like a leper, and it didn't smudge.

I bought this mascara for volume because I have very thin and short lashes that grow too straight, almost downwards. Of course, I didn't expect a "wow" effect, but I have something to compare it to.

The straight brush doesn't make my lashes more lifted, causing them to stick together throughout the day and not allowing me to blink properly. You might say that I should apply it upwards, then it will be fine, but this brush is straight and I end up smearing it on myself too much when applying upwards. I'll repeat it again: my lashes are short, just a little above the eyelid.

The only advantage is that it doesn't smudge and is waterproof.

Before this, I used Maybelline New York Lash/Cils Sensational with a curved brush, now that one is great.

Pros: makes lashes longer, doesn't smudge, waterproof.
Cons: uncomfortable brush.

I am disappointed with this mascara. Just a couple of hours after applying it, black smudges appear under my eyes, and they are difficult to remove. Moreover, it does not wash off well in general.

The mascara is terrible. Either they sent it to me already expired, or it is naturally like this: very thick (not like a new one usually is), semi-dry, clumpy, and it falls off. The brush is not convenient, and neither is the packaging. I do not recommend it.

Good mascara, solid 4 stars! Advantages: doesn't flake, gives a natural look, slightly lengthens and adds volume, separates well, no scent, pleasant packaging, doesn't irritate. It looks exactly like in the photo on the lashes, somewhat similar to the effect of Leningrad mascara :) I understand that it contains fibers that wrap around the lashes.

Disadvantages: inflated price and probably won't live up to inflated expectations if you're expecting something unreal and mega...

Conclusion: I love Maybelline mascaras almost always, it's almost always a quality product. Among their variety, you can find your favorite.
