I'm not sure how well the foam cleanses the skin, but it doesn't remove makeup. The advantage is that it doesn't dry out the skin. It's difficult to lather and it stings the eyes and smells like baby soap. It didn't cause any allergies. Overall, it's not a remarkable product.
