Before using the OrganiCup for the first time, sterilize the cup in boiling water for 3-5 minutes. First, be sure to wash your hands with soap. Fold the cup. There are different folding methods—try a few and choose the one that works best for you. Insert the folded cup and allow it to expand inside the vagina. Once in place, the cup will open with a characteristic suction or "pop" sound, indicating that it has been correctly positioned. If you're unsure, feel the base of the cup; it should be round or oval when properly installed. If you notice any dents or indentations, the cup hasn't fully opened. Gently grasp the base of the cup (not the stem) and try to rotate it to create a suction seal. Once the cup is in place, you can lightly pull on the stem. If you feel resistance, it means suction has been created and the cup is correctly installed!
