Ciara Eau de Parfum is particularly special for Revlon, as it was launched in 1973 by the brand's founder Charles Revson, the same year as the iconic Charlie. This fragrance offers a unique opportunity to return to the authentic roots of femininity amid the diversity of modern perfumery experiments.
The refreshing and sensual composition opens with the classic note of bergamot, accented by the delicate touch of neroli and the cheerful nuance of raspberry. A creamy, powdery iris blooms at the heart of the fragrance, surrounded by the sharpness of jasmine and the fruity accent of palmarosa. Sweet vanilla and cozy leather lend a special sensuality, adapting all the notes to the warmth of your skin. The seductive musk, dense frankincense, and animalistic opoponax perfectly anchor the fragrance's bouquet.
I didn't buy it here, but I want to leave a review. This is the older sister of L'agent by Agent Provocateur! More serious, more mature. The notes last a very long time. The perfume is like "old school". But because of that, it is even more unique and beloved. Prestigious, serious. The perfume is for certain moods, not for everyday use. It lasts the whole day! I have both the perfume and the toilet water. And let me tell you, the toilet water even sounds louder to me.
Pleasant, not retro or granny-like, but with a slight hint of retro. The most important thing is that it is wearable and not irritating. It is very similar, almost identical, to the fragrance Giorgio Beverly Hills Red. However, Giorgio Red is not sweet at all, while Ciara is not overly sweet, but still has a hint of sweetness. Ciara is much more pleasant and I can wear it unlike Giorgio Red. Ciara doesn't irritate at all, while Giorgio, although it is an expensive fragrance and very similar to Ciara, has some slight differences. But Ciara is better and more pleasant, while Giorgio irritates and causes headaches. Ciara is a pleasant fragrance, suitable for any season except for hot weather. It's not a masterpiece, but at least it's pleasant and wearable. I have a modern version, not sure if it's the original. It has an oriental and spicy scent, yet it is soft despite the oriental notes and spices. Maybe there are some aromatic sticks here. It is long-lasting if applied more than once. It's a good modern version for wearable vintage, but still it's a matter of personal preference. If you want something pleasant and slightly retro or vintage, but still wearable, so that people don't shy away from you and it doesn't irritate or bother you, then Ciara is the perfect choice.
