It is a realm of fantastic Arabian fragrances, not far from India with its unique spicy scents. It is this olfactory character of Oman that the perfume masters at Amouage have captured in the luxurious unisex composition Ashore.
The perfume opens with the warm, cozy spices of piquant cardamom, rich turmeric, and vibrant pink pepper. At its heart reign floral notes of honeyed Sambac jasmine and fragrant rose, seasoned with a pinch of hot sunny motifs. The scent concludes with dense accords of balsamic smoky frankincense, noble woody sandalwood, and animalistic grey amber.
The strong scent of jasmine is expected in a floral fragrance, but not to this extent. I can't say that I didn't like it, just that it's a regular perfume. Normally, fragrances of this caliber have more complex compositions, but unfortunately, this scent is not one of them.
This fragrance is simply enchanting and beautiful. It has a light, ethereal, and feminine scent. It instantly takes off 10 years from any age. It has a very long-lasting trail.
It is so delicate, cozy, feminine, and incredibly complimentary. Practically everyone from my fairly large circle of acquaintances likes it. The longevity is also very pleasing, well, it's Amouage after all!
