SUITABLE FOR COLORED HAIR.
The shampoo really dries out my scalp. It causes terrible dandruff after use. Although it does make my hair look better and shinier. However, it is important to stop using it after two weeks of dyeing because it really washes out the color. Rinsing with cold water after using conditioner and liquid crystals gives the same effect when using any shampoo. Therefore, I will not buy it again.
I bought the entire shampoo, conditioner, and pre-shampoo spray series, and I was deciding between Kerastase for blondes and this series. This is my first time trying Redken, I have long, dyed blonde hair, and I must say that this is the best thing that has ever happened to my hair. It looks shiny and alive, as if I suddenly had twice as much hair. I never thought my blonde could look like this. I can't say which of the three products is more effective because I used them all together. The shampoo is not purple, it's transparent, and it lathers very well. The conditioner has a nice thickness to it. I highly recommend it to all blondes!
I purchased this shampoo along with the conditioner from the same line. The color did lighten slightly, the shampoo added volume, and my hair became smooth and easy to comb and style. However, I deducted one star because the color became slightly more yellowish. I suspect it washed out some of the toner, so I think it would be wise to use a toning mask after using this shampoo.
