I really liked this shampoo. I have thick, curly, and porous hair. I use the shampoo twice in a row before moving on to conditioner or a hair mask. I have no issues with detangling, my hair feels clean, moisturized, and shiny.

The entire pink series is excellent. I use the shampoo, and instead of conditioner, I chose the mask and the 20-in-1 spray (I don't always use the spray). In addition to the mask, I always use the Matrix Total Results High Amplify Shine Rinse lamellar water as the final step.

The initial hair condition was porous, curly, and damaged from constant dyeing. It was prone to static and seemed impossible to manage. I either had to use the curly method with a bunch of extra products or braid it. After 2.5 months of using the pink series, I noticed a significant improvement (it was noticeable right away, but the effect became more stable over time). My hair is less porous, it can be easily combed, it doesn't get static, and it doesn't fly around excessively. It is obedient and shiny. If I blow-dry it from top to bottom, the hair is easily detangled, even when dry (those with curly hair will understand how unreal this is).

Now, let me just say, I am absolutely thrilled with the shampoo. The consistency of the shampoo is very thick (it will last a long time) and it has a luxurious salon-like fragrance. It lathers up excellently.

I received the "Insta Curl" sample set from Matrix as a gift with my main order from Makeup. I was pleasantly surprised during shampooing as the scalp cleansing was very gentle. The scent is pleasant and not overpowering. The foam is extremely thick, so even with a small sample size, it was enough to properly rinse my long (down to the waist) and thick hair. An absolutely wonderful choice for girls with porous hair. I will definitely consider getting the full-sized version.
