Diptyque Philosykos Eau de Toilette

Once again, my attempt to fall in love with Diptyque has failed :) These perfumes are extremely capricious. On my skin, all I can detect is coconut, while on blotting paper, clothes, and the bottle cap, it smells like a lovely freshly mowed grass. They might be suitable for summer, but I won't be purchasing them anymore. Definitely only for coconut lovers.

It is so delicate! For me, it resembles the scent of a summer evening. It is truly unique and not overused. Men seem to like it :)

I got a 2ml sample to try out. Immediately, a strong smell of pine hits my nose, and the scent opens up for me after about 2-3 hours. At that point, I find it pleasant. However, it's not my preferred scent, more of an acquired taste.

My husband gave it to me as a Valentine's Day gift, he ordered it on a makeup website. The scent is interesting - I've wanted it for a long time. Personally, I can only smell the scent of grass. My husband only smells coconut. The fragrance doesn't last long. Maybe I should just buy the perfume water, which is twice as expensive as the toilet water. The scent is suitable only for warm seasons. Right now, in winter, it gets lost.

I had been dreaming about this fragrance so much. But I didn't expect them to become so boring and not long-lasting. Honestly, the tester fragrances from Kilian in the UAE or Turkey for 500 UAH are more long-lasting and have a better sillage than these perfumes.

I tried the tester. The fragrance is amazing. It's perfect for summer: you don't risk suffocating people in the heat with a heavy scent.

It has a wonderful smell of fresh grass, fig, and coconut oil (not the artificial coconut syrup, but the natural nutty-cool scent of coconut). On a hot summer day, I could clearly feel it on myself for about 5 hours.

I'm considering ordering it for myself in a bottle for my birthday.

The scent is a true representation of summer, floral, green, and very delicate. The coconut and fig notes appear in the middle of the fragrance, while the first notes are of leaves and freshly cut grass. If you enjoy floral scents, you will love this one. It is incredibly beautiful. It lasts on my skin for at least 6 hours. However, remember that longevity is subjective. Everyone has different noses and perception. Longevity can vary from person to person, and that's normal. Perfume is not a one-size-fits-all product. Some people will like the scent, while others won't. Some will find it long-lasting, while others won't. If you want long-lasting fragrance, buy the cheapest vanilla scent, and you'll get longevity. Stop judging perfumes based on these criteria. I really liked the fragrance!!! However, it is not long-lasting at all. It fades away in about 20 minutes as if it never existed. Nobody can smell it, and neither can I after a very short time. It's a pity.

I can't say that it's not long-lasting. I sprayed it on a blotter and put it in my pocket along with a mask. After a week, I put on my jacket and the mask had a strong, green scent. I was immersed in the fragrance of fig. The longevity is amazing. However, I doubt that this store sells the original product since I have tried it in the official store. The longevity is superb. How can you say it's not long-lasting? That cannot be true.

The initial notes transport me back to my childhood in the 90s and remind me of the "burdock" shampoo. However, personally, this is only a positive thing for me, as it brings back pleasant nostalgia and the scent of that era. I am delighted that it has regained popularity.
