The yellow one works great for cleaning, but I don't see any tinting.
I recently got a balayage on my natural hair and started using this mask and shampoo. It does a good job at removing yellow tones, but the toning effect is almost nonexistent. So, I decided to try Kerastase: the toning effect is simply amazing, but it turns my natural hair yellow and it's terrible. After a week, I switched back to Lakme. I'm giving it very few stars because the toning is almost non-existent and you need to leave it on for about 20 minutes (if you leave it for less, it won't do anything at all) and it's a veryyyy expensive mask.
I have used the old version of the mask and shampoo from this series, and I really liked the effect on my lightened hair. Now I bought it again, after the manufacturer supposedly changed the formula to a 'vegan' one, but for some reason, the effect is completely different. I don't see any ashiness at all after using it. On the contrary, it seems like my hair becomes even more reddish. The color of the product itself used to be purple, but now it's closer to blue.
