Prepare to be transported to an era of adventure and opulent discoveries with the unisex scented water Mystic Incense by The Merchant Of Venice brand. Its creation was inspired by the origins of Venice's history, a time when daring traders risked their lives, braving the elements and bandits. All this was in pursuit of bringing back the most precious treasures from Egypt — spices and aromatic substances, including the luxurious incense. Introduced in 2018 as part of the Murano Collection, this fragrance radiates a refined balance of strength and elegance. Thanks to its unmatched combination of sensations, it envelops in a mysterious mist, filling every moment with luxury.
The top note immediately immerses you in the turbulent and noisy atmosphere of spirits, where shades of caramel, dried fruits, and salt resonate.
The heart note feels like a respite under the summer sun, where one can relax under a tall tree and experience the balsamic chords of incense.
The base note wraps you in an appetizing trail of chocolate cocoa and sweet incense.
To say that I'm delighted would be an understatement! This is a genius incense composition executed in an incredible way! I am an experienced perfume enthusiast, but this Mystical Incense has thrown me into olfactory ecstasy. The pyramid mentioned here is incorrect, but on the box, it is labeled as salty caramel - not just salt and caramel, but specifically salty caramel, Somali incense, white wood, absolute (!) cocoa, and dried fruits. So, no doubts about the notes. Based on previous experiences, this fragrance is something in between Full Incense and Intense Cafe by Montale. The incense here is far from churchy - it is sophisticated and atmospheric, even meditative. The bottle itself is made of Murano glass, and the packaging is done with so much care and heart! The description, brand history, and fragrance concept are all well explained and presented. Honestly, I take my hat off to the creators - they have treated the creation of both the scent and the bottle with such reverence. There is no sweetness as such. The incense and wood, a hint of that salty caramel, which adds a touch of gourmand to the composition. And the cocoa - it delicately enhances the entire perfume ensemble. Yes, I am delighted! The best purchase I've made recently. It's currently not available, but luckily I managed to get it on sale. Definitely give it a try, if possible, especially if you enjoy fragrances of this nature. Decent longevity, moderate sillage, but with a big plus. And I must repeat, the bottle is a work of art, packed and presented with soul and love, which is very important to me as an aesthete.
