Potassium alum is known and used since antiquity. Thousands of years ago, every person had an alum. It was used in case of minor cuts while shaving. Alum has hypoallergenic properties, neutralizes the unpleasant odor of sweat, and does not stain clothes. After application, it leaves an invisible barrier of mineral salts on the skin, which inhibits the growth of bacteria that cause unpleasant odors. Alum does not block perspiration, but eliminates its unpleasant odor. Bacteria living on our skin cause bad smell, alum prevents bacteria from multiplying and thus reduces bad smell. Our body needs perspiration because the body releases toxins through sweat.

Potassium Alum.
This deodorant is great, it eliminates body odor and doesn't clog pores. It lasted for 4 months with daily use. I'm ordering another one!
It works as advertised, BUT! It is not a homogeneous stone or crystal that will last a long time. It is more like pressed crumbs that start to crumble over time after contact with water. Two months have passed and I am already starting to look for a replacement. In the past, I used a product from another manufacturer for over a year.
This product is great! Unlike regular deodorants, it doesn't clog pores, yet still prevents the appearance of body odor.
