This mask has a lovely scent, but that's about it. For my non-dyed, slightly porous hair with oily roots and dry ends, the mask didn't work any wonders. I was hoping for soft, smooth, well-groomed hair...but no, unfortunately. The price didn't justify the quality. I followed the usage instructions precisely.
Given: Long, thin, porous, slightly wavy hair (not dyed), oily at the roots and dry ends. Becomes fluffy in humid weather.
This mask is absolutely not worth the money. It makes the hair even fluffier, tangles it, and makes it look like straw. The only good thing is the smell and the name - that's it. I have the whole series together with the clay mask. It doesn't work at all for controlling the oiliness of the hair - not at all. I really wanted it to work, but it turned out to be a disappointment.
I did not like this mask. I left it on for 15 minutes, but afterwards, my hair ends felt like straw. I don't see any noticeable difference in length, whether I applied the mask or not. On the second day, my hair feels greasy as if it's covered in oil. I expected more from Kerastase.
The mask is simply amazing! It provides great moisturization without making the hair greasy (unlike the conditioner from Morrocanoil, which makes my roots oily even though I don't apply it to the roots). I used it every time I washed my hair, and I have already finished the whole jar. I need to get more.
I have the usual brown hair like most Slavic people. It's fluffy and tends to be on the drier side. However, this mask doesn't provide enough moisture. It really, I mean really, makes my hair frizzy. I try using a conditioner from a different brand and it doesn't help.
For straight, thick hair, it would work really well. It wouldn't weigh it down.
But for hair that needs more attention, no, it's not enough.
