Maybelline New York Fit Me Primer Moisturizing Primer

The moisturizer does not provide enough hydration, even though I have combination skin with normal and oily areas in my T-zone.

Whether it's my problem or the product's fault, we couldn't find a common ground. It doesn't minimize pores or moisturize the skin. In short, it simply exists in my cosmetics bag. On the other hand, I can confidently recommend Vollare Cosmetics Mattifying Silky Base. It minimizes pores, provides a matte effect, and allows for easy makeup application because the skin truly becomes silky.

This is a very good primer. It has a texture similar to a gentle cream. I apply it first and then use a damp sponge to apply BB cream. The result is superb.

I liked it, but be careful when applying it around the eye area, it stings a little. It applies evenly, and makeup looks neater with it, foundation goes on better.

I have combination/normal skin, but it tends to get very dry and flaky in the winter. I decided to try a moisturizing primer for the first time to understand what it is and what effects it would have. So, this primer doesn't clog pores, it moisturizes well, hides flakiness, absorbs quickly, and doesn't cause any discomfort, although it has a slightly oily texture. It smells like sunscreen. It's a good product for winter. Of course, it doesn't do anything extraordinary, but as an additional skincare step, it's great.

I was pleasantly surprised by the effectiveness of the primer. The foundation and concealer are applied evenly and easily, and it doesn't seem to affect their longevity. My skin is normal/combination, and I didn't experience any increase in oiliness or notice any comedogenic effects. It suited me well.

I really liked it. I have dry skin and previously used the baby skin primer, which was slightly worse compared to this one. After applying the primer, I would put on foundation and end up with a greasy shine. On the other hand, Fit Me moisturizes, absorbs well, and makeup applies very nicely after using it.

It doesn't clog pores, but it also doesn't fill them, nor does it fill wrinkles. It resembles a heavy face cream.
It absorbs quickly.

I have several foundation creams, and it worked well with all of them, without rolling off.

I didn't notice any difference in the longevity of wearing foundation, whether with it or without it.

I won't buy it again, as the same effect can be achieved with any nourishing/moisturizing cream.

I have only used it once with the corresponding foundation. I liked the effect on my skin: it feels velvety and pleasant to the touch. The primer does not make my skin oily, but at the same time it effectively hides all the dry patches, which is very important, especially for close-up makeup. The foundation applies much faster and more comfortably. Let's see how it goes, I will definitely test it for a full day and update my review if anything changes. I have combination skin with occasional dry patches.

This primer is simply perfect, especially if you have flakiness on your skin. It evens out, illuminates, and doesn't make it greasy. It's the best I've tried under foundation. The application is excellent, and it smooths out pores.
